Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us light in the darkness. Thank you for being a God of order and not of chaos or confusion. Thank you for your compassion and care. And thank you for the scripture for the prayer for the letter Z:

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:14)

Lord, what a wonderful way to end another set of 40 days of prayers for your daughter Lindsey… with a prayer about being zealous for good works! Lord, this is a big prayer … I see so much energy and good just bubbling over in your daughter. I pray that you would use this energy to be zealous for good works. Open many doors for her joyful zeal to do good. Open her eyes and her heart to good works that you set before her. Give her the courage to go through those doors and give her the words when she needs them. And we will give all the glory to you. The glory is all yours Lord.
