Lindsey, I bless you this day. I pray that God’s grace and peace will be with you.

Heavenly Father, what a wonderful day to start blessing your daughter Lindsey. Thank you for the bright sunshine. Thank you for the fresh air. Thank you for all those I meet today, all created in your image. And thank you for the first blessing taken directly from your scriptures:

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 1:1)

Lord, what a joy to be sitting with you today. It is especially joyful since this day marks the start of praying blessings over the daughter you love. Lindsey, today I pray that grace and peace be yours. I pray that his peace would be granted you from God your father and Jesus Christ. And together we can give the glory to the Lord.
