God loves YOU!

Good evening Heavenly Father. Thank you for clarity! Thank you for bringing clarity to my mind. Thank you for giving us your Word and bringing meaning and understanding each time we read it. Thank you for all the scribes who so diligently, carefully and accurately copied it to new manuscripts over and over again until just 560 years ago when Bibles were being printed with the new printing press! And thank you for allowing me to actually have some Bibles that were printed almost 300 years ago! Thank you for letting me how 150 years ago Bibles were published that were not only accurate but also beautiful, even the front and back covers! (see My Old Bibles). Thank you for your Word and for this scripture to pray over Lindsey, your daughter you love:

Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver. (2Corinthians 9:7 NET)

Lord, I’m here.  I’m here to praying this truth over your daughter Lindsey. Yes, Lindsey, I am praying this promise over you now. I see this as a promise for you because I see you giving of yourself to others with such joy and enthusiasm. I see you stirring the hearts of those who see and hear you. I see you sharing your story about what is important to you. And I see you doing all this because it is in your heart … you can’t help but share your joy with others. And others see this. They see a cheerful GIVER (focusing on you rather than on the giving).  And that is a delight to the Lord … he sees this too and he loves YOU just as this scripture promises. Lord, I ask that you shower your love over Lindsey this day. Fill her with your love to overflowing. Let your love in her over flow to others where ever she goes. Let her feel your love just bubbling up within her. And I give you the glory Lord. The glory is not on us but on on you. All the glory. All the time. It all is yours Lord. I pray and ask this all in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen.

King James Version for your reference:

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Celebrate because you understand God’s Word!

Hello Heavenly Father. Thank you for keeping my heart thankful. Thank you for helping me to see the many blessings that are poured on my family. Thank you for the many godly friends you surround me with. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved. And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them. (Nehemiah 8:10-12)

Lord, I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you. Lindsey, today’s prayer is a joyful prayer, for God’s Word is telling you to not grieve but to go and celebrate because you understand the words that have been declared unto you in God’s Word! Be filled with the joy of the Lord which is your strength. I also pray that others will see your joy in how you celebrate and that you will have a chance to tell them it is because you understand the words! I pray that you can help them to understand God’s Word as well. And together all the glory goes to God. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

May others see much love, joy, peace, patience and faith in you

Good morning Heavenly Father. I welcome another day with you. A new day with you. A day anew with you! And I thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Lord, I’m here as usual to pray for Lindsey, your daughter you love. Today I ask that you fill her with your Spirit. Fill her to overflowing so that it can be seen in her by her actions. I ask that you be her guide, her joy and her strength. Lindsey, with the power of the Spirit you can have much fruit. People are watching, so I pray that you will be living in a way that shows much fruit. I pray that you will walk in love, spread much peace and joy, be patient and longsuffering. I pray that your gentleness, meekness and goodness will be evident to those around you. There is no law against these things, so strive for them always! And we will give the glory to God. Glory to God. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Radiant!

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for coffee. Thank you for a Wendy’s chocolate frosty. And thank you for reminding me to try combining them! The frosty cooled down the coffee so I did not need to add ice cubes. The frosty took the place of the cream.  And it even took the place of the sugar. Thank you for a wonderful drink this morning! And thank you for an interesting scripture from Jeremiah for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. (Jeremiah 31:11-13)

The center piece of this scripture can be translated as being RADIANT when in the midst of the goodness of the Lord!

ESV:

they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord

NET:

They will be radiant with joy over the good things the Lord provides

NLT:

They will be radiant because of the Lord’s good gifts

HCSB:

they will be radiant with joy because of the Lord’s goodness

Lord, I’m here again. I was anxious to come see you this morning when I woke up for I wanted to begin another prayer for your daughter who enjoys singing and playing songs of joy to you. I ask that you find a way for her to come and sing to you today. Let her joy be evident to those around her.  Let her glow as she delights in you Lord. Let her be radiant with joy while she is in the midst of your goodness. And we will give the glory to you. The glory is all yours Lord. Glory. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

The righteous will be glad and will rejoice EXCEEDINGLY!

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the roof over my head. Thank you for food on my table. Thank you for the clothes that I wear. Thank you for my health. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. (Psalm 68:3)

Lord, I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter you love. Lindsey, today’s scripture is quite amazing. It is another IF… THEN… scripture that ties obedience together with joy. Just strive to be righteous and look what it says you will have! You will be glad. You will rejoice. Wait … not JUST rejoice … you will rejoice EXCEEDINGLY! You will be jubilant with joy! Lord, I pray that you will be the guide for Lindsey as she strives for that righteousness. Surround her with godly advisers. Place a hedge of protection around her and her family. Provide her with ways that she can put her finger on how you are really there with her and for her! And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

May your times of fasting bring you great joy and gladness

Heavenly Father, good morning! I welcome a new day with you. I share your view that it is good. Thank you for all the aspects of your creation that work together so well. And thank you for the scripture to use for a prayer for Lindsey today:

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace. (Zechariah 8:19)

Lord, it’s me. I am here to begin a new prayer for your daughter Lindsey based on an interesting scripture. Lindsey, notice how times of fasting are referred to as times of joy and gladness and as cheerful feasts! When you notice this, perhaps you also can conclude that it is good to love the truth and peace! Lord, I ask that you give Lindsey opportunities to fast and that doing so will bring her great joy. I also ask that you reveal your truth to Lindsey even more now than before and that you help her walk in peace. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

As you walk in God’s ways, may you rejoice in your heart

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for nuts (the kinds that I eat:) Almonds and cashews are so good. Thank you for the huge variety of things that we can eat. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. (Psalm 19:8)

Lord, I’m here again to lift up Lindsey to you. She loves you and strives to follow your ways and obey your commandments. So I pray that you would continue to provide rejoicing for her heart. I pray that you would enlighten her eyes and give her insight on living. Many people in the world are watching your daughter. I pray that they notice how she rejoices from her heart and has a keen insight for living. I pray that they will also notice that it is connected with how she strives to walk in your ways Lord. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours. Glory! I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

The Joy of the Lord is your Strength

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the wind. We know not where it comes from nor where it goes. We cannot see it yet we know it is there. Thank you for the wind to be an example for us in these ways. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:8-10)

Lord, I’m here. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you and loves reading your word each day. Lindsey, this is a good scripture to remember as you read God’s Word and see how you may not have been living it out fully. Nehemiah, Ezra and the Levites saw the people weeping as they heard the Word of God. They told the people to not weep but to celebrate for a day when you gain understanding of God’s Word is holy. Lindsey, may each day be holy for you as you gain understanding to what you read in God’s Word. Rejoice knowing that the JOY OF THE LORD is your strength! And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Consider the great joy in knowing that Jesus has risen

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for community. Thank you for how the staff in restaurants can be such a good example of how to serve others. Thank you for that same serving attitude that I see around me. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. (Matthew 28:7-8)

Lord, I’m here again. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey. Lindsey, today’s scripture paints an interesting picture of joy… the joy of realizing that Jesus rose from the dead! I pray that you would find more of this joy today as you consider something you already know a bit more carefully. Joy is something we want to share. So, I pray that you will have the opportunity today to share your great joy that Jesus is risen with other disciples around you. And we will give the glory to God. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
