Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank  you for the great variety of food  and drink! Today I thank you for coffee (and hot chocolate … and the two intertwined as Mocha).  I also thank you for the next scripture to use for my prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.  Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.  Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. (Psalm 149:1-3)

Lord, I am here to sit with you again, as I begin another daily prayer for your daughter you love. Today I ask that you give her a new song. I ask that you place a new song in her heart and in her mind. Let it be a song of rejoicing. Let it be a song that she can dance to. Let it be a song that gives praise to you Lord, even while others may not recognize exactly why the song seems so “good”. And we will give the glory to you Lord. All the glory is yours.
