Heavenly Father, thank you for teeth. Thank you for how our teeth help so much with eating. I can see how hard eating would be without our teeth. Thank you Lord for our wonderfully designed bodies! And thank you for the scripture (about the Queen of Sheba) for today’s prayer:
6 Then she said to the king: “It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom. 7 However I did not believe the words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame of which I heard. (1Kings 10:6-7 NKJV)
Lord, it’s me … I am here. Thank you coming to chat with me regarding today’s prayer for the daughter you love, for your Lindsey! Thank you for the reference to a TRUE REPORT! Lindsey, I pray that the Lord would grant you much discernment so that you would know when a “true report” is actually true. I pray that truth would be part of you so much that deception would be kept far from you. I pray that the Lord would be your guide and would guide you into all truth:
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. (John 16:13 ESV)
I pray that your eyes would be open to see the truth around you, just as the Queen of Sheba saw the truth with her own eyes. And together let’s give God the glory. The glory is all his. Glory! I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen.
King James Version for your reference:
6 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.
7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard. (1Kings 10:6-7)
and…
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13)
