Look out for the interests of others

Heavenly Father, hello. Thank you for the heart of compassion. Thank you for a humble love for others. Thank you for eyes to see that which is not visible. And thank you for the scripture that is the basis of today’s prayer for Lindsey, you daughter:

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. (Philippians 2:4)

Lord, I am pleased to be here. I am happy that you call me to come sit with you every day so that I can pray for your daughter Lindsey. It is a joy to lift Lindsey up to you Lord. I pray that you extend the compassion in her heart. I pray that you enhance her vision to see that which is not visible. I ask that you help her to look out for the interest of others ahead of her own interests. I pray that those who are watching her will see this and want to do the same! And we will give all the glory to you Lord. The glory is all yours. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Blessing: The Lord is Near, Be Anxious for Nothing for the Peace of God Guards Your Heart and Mind

Lindsey, the Lord is at hand. He is near and ever present, so you need not be anxious at all. May you never be anxious since the peace of God guards your heart and your mind through Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, good morning. I welcome this new day with you. I thank you for the restful sleep over the night and thank you for being with me as I sleep. Thank you for being with me all day and night, for never leaving me. And thank you for the scripture to bless your daughter this day:

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:5-7)

Lord, here I am. I’m here to bless your daughter again today. But first I ask that you restore her health. Lord, she is a godly role model for the young women today so I ask that you keep her healthy and full of your joy. And now let me bless you Lindsey. May your gentle nature be obvious to everyone you meet. God is close to you. May those around you see this in your eyes. May your anxiety dissipate as you praise the Lord with songs and prayers of thanksgiving. May God’s peace rest in your heart and in your mind so that you may remain calm the entire day. May the Lord hear your requests today. And we will give all the glory to you Lord. The glory is all yours. I bless you today in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

You are a Child of God without blemish! Blameless and pure!

Heavenly Father, good morning! At night the sky was crystal clear and the stars were bright and twinkling. Thank you for setting the stars in the heavens for us to see.  It is breath-taking! Hundreds that I can see… thousands with a little help … millions with a good telescope, but there are even way more than that. The immenseness of this paints a splendid picture of the God we praise today! Thank you Lord. And thank you for the scripture to use as the basis for my prayer to kick off the next 40 days of prayers for the daughter you love!

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (Philippians 2:14-15)

Lord, what a privilege to be able to sit with you. What an honor. But here I am … sitting with you. You restored my breath. You cleared my mind. I am here on Lindsey’s behalf again Lord. Today I pray a prayer confirming that she is a child of God, that she is a daughter of God shining as a light in the world in the midst of the darkness which you refer to as crooked, perverse and twisted. Lord, I ask that you fill your daughter with your love and your light. Let her shine brightly before all she meets and let her do all things without grumbling, disputing, arguing or murmuring! Let only goodness spill out from her where ever she goes. And we will give you the glory. Yes, all the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen (more…)

(R) God Rejoices

Heavenly Father – Yay! From Q for quiet to R for rejoicing. Thank you for revealing bits of yourself to us in your Word! It seems Paul understood this when writing to the Philippians when he told them to rejoice always. We should rejoice because you rejoice! Thank you for giving us so many ways to rejoice. With singing, with dance, with laughter. Thank you for the scripture to use in my prayer this day:

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)

Lord, I come here before you with joy and with singing.  I come here to joyfully lift up your daughter you love, to lift up Lindsey, your daughter as you sing joyfully over her. And I pray that she, in turn, will rejoice with you today. Let her rest in your love as you calm all her fears.  You are mighty, Lord, but you are singing and rejoicing as well.  Let Lindsey feel your delight in her today. Let her be inspired by your joy and your singing.  Rather than put this inspiration into words, let her put it to music. Let her music resound through the room and into the heavens. And we will give you the glory Lord. All the glory is yours. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen. (more…)

Always Content

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for another new day. Thank you for letting us start anew each day regardless of what transpired the prior day. Thank you for being with us from the moment we wake. And thank you for watching over us while we sleep. It is comforting to know that you are always with us. Always. And thank you for the scripture to use for my prayer for your gifted daughter Lindsey:

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. (Philippians 4:11-12)

Lord, I ask that you provide Lindsey with a feeling of contentment this day. Help her to be content in whatever circumstances she finds herself in today, whether in abundance or suffering need. And in this I also ask that you continue to be her provider this day. As a loving Father, you know what she needs today. Thank you for being her provider, day after day. And we will give you the glory Lord. All the glory goes to you. I pray this in the name and with the authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen. (more…)
