It is Your Testimony and The Blood of Jesus
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for truth. Thank you for revealing your truth to us. Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for your LIVING Word. Thank you for the excitement it brings me as I read it… as I see it all flow together… as it is my treasure or rather as it reminds me of the treasure that is in me. Thank you for being near. Thank you Lord. And thank you for the godly people you have set around me. And thank you for the scriptures to use for my prayer today for Lindsey:
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Revelation 12:10-12)
and
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:19-22)
Lord, I am here on behalf of your daughter Lindsey. She has a testimony Lord, and she is not afraid to tell it. So, I pray for Lindsey. I pray that you would always have confidence to come before God with your requests. I pray that you would boldly draw near to Jesus. I pray that you are not even afraid to die for him. It is by your testimony and the blood of Jesus that the evil one is thrown down and overcome. But you need to stay alert, for he knows that his time is short and he wants to destroy all that he can. So I pray that each day you put on the full armor of God. I pray that each day you find time to walk and talk with God. And I pray that you always seek out godly people to help you when you need their help. And together we can give the glory to God. All the glory is his. Glory. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Live by Faith and Don’t Shrink Back.
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the new day. Thank you for the sun rising in the east starting the new day. Thank you for the beauty of that sun rise, for the many colors. And thank you for the scripture for my prayer for your daughter Lindsey today:
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:35-39)
Lord, it’s me again. I’m here to lift up your daughter who loves you. Don’t cast away your confidence Lindsey. Live by faith in your God. Believe in him and save your soul. Meet the challenges of the day head on and do not shrink back. Run with endurance. Play with endurance and your reward will be great. Yes, you need endurance to do God’s will. Lord, I ask that you increase Lindsey’s faith. Build up her endurance. And enhance her confidence. And we give the glory to you. Glory. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Remember to pray for God’s protection during your travels
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you for being our provider. Yes, and thank you for also being our protector! Thank you for being so faithful. Help our faith as well today please! And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him. So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was entreated of us. (Ezra 8:21-23)
Lord, I am here. I am here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you. I am here to lift her up and to pray for her. Lindsey, this scripture is just a small piece of a good story. This is a story about the king allowing and supporting Ezra and all who were to travel with him to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. It seems that Ezra realized that the king knew that he and those travelling with him believed in the Almighty God, the All Powerful God. And so Ezra realized, that if they asked the king to protect them as they traveled that the king might wonder why their God was not the one protecting them. And so Ezra proclaimed a fast. They fasted and prayed to God for protection on their journey… and he answered them! And so now I pray this over you Lindsey. I pray that you would always look to God for your protection during your travels. Pray before each trip and ask God to be with you and protect you and all who are travelling with you. Pray and expect that God will hear your prayer (because he will!) Lord, I join with Lindsey in this. I join with her in praying to you to protect her and her team wherever they travel, wherever their journey takes them. I pray that you would let Lindsey see first hand your protection. Let your protection over her be real to her. Give her confidence, not only in her talents … but confidence in her God! And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
(Q) You are Qualified
(See other translations to help with old English “which hath made us meet”)
Heavenly Father, thank you for the warm room in the midst of 30 below zero wind chill temperatures. Thank you for watching over me all these years and I ask that you would watch over all the others during the very cold temperatures. Thank you for being my instructor and my guide. And thank you for such a good scripture for the letter Q:
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet* to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: (Colossians 1:12)
Lord, I am here again. Here to sit with you and to remember your daughter you love, to recall Lindsey. You have made her qualified for every task that you set before her. I ask that you give her confidence and let her feel fully qualified for everything she sets out to accomplish. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen
* “hath made us meet” = “has qualified us”
Boldly Approach God’s Throne of Grace with Confidence
Heavenly Father, Good Morning! What a wonderful day. Thank you for the light wind which comes and goes and can’t be seen. Thank you for the community of people around me, all created in your image. And thank you for the scripture to use in my prayer for your daughter Lindsey this day:
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
Lord, it’s me again. I’m happy to be here with you again on behalf of your daughter. I know that I can boldly come before you with confidence. And today I ask that you remind Lindsey of this as well. As a daughter you love, she can boldly come to you. In her time of need, she can have full confidence in approaching you. Extend your mercy to her this day Lord. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
