Live by Faith and Don’t Shrink Back.

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the new day. Thank you for the sun rising in the east starting the new day. Thank you for the beauty of that sun rise, for the many colors. And thank you for the scripture for my prayer for your daughter Lindsey today:

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:35-39)

Lord, it’s me again. I’m here to lift up your daughter who loves you. Don’t cast away your confidence Lindsey. Live by faith in your God. Believe in him and save your soul. Meet the challenges of the day head on and do not shrink back. Run with endurance. Play with endurance and your reward will be great. Yes, you need endurance to do God’s will. Lord, I ask that you increase Lindsey’s faith. Build up her endurance. And enhance her confidence. And we give the glory to you. Glory. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

NET:
So do not throw away your confidence, because it has great reward. For you need endurance in order to do God’s will and so receive what is promised.  For just a little longer and he who is coming will arrive and not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith, and if he shrinks back, I take no pleasure in him.  But we are not among those who shrink back and thus perish, but are among those who have faith and preserve their souls.

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
