God loves YOU!

Good evening Heavenly Father. Thank you for clarity! Thank you for bringing clarity to my mind. Thank you for giving us your Word and bringing meaning and understanding each time we read it. Thank you for all the scribes who so diligently, carefully and accurately copied it to new manuscripts over and over again until just 560 years ago when Bibles were being printed with the new printing press! And thank you for allowing me to actually have some Bibles that were printed almost 300 years ago! Thank you for letting me how 150 years ago Bibles were published that were not only accurate but also beautiful, even the front and back covers! (see My Old Bibles). Thank you for your Word and for this scripture to pray over Lindsey, your daughter you love:

Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver. (2Corinthians 9:7 NET)

Lord, I’m here.  I’m here to praying this truth over your daughter Lindsey. Yes, Lindsey, I am praying this promise over you now. I see this as a promise for you because I see you giving of yourself to others with such joy and enthusiasm. I see you stirring the hearts of those who see and hear you. I see you sharing your story about what is important to you. And I see you doing all this because it is in your heart … you can’t help but share your joy with others. And others see this. They see a cheerful GIVER (focusing on you rather than on the giving).  And that is a delight to the Lord … he sees this too and he loves YOU just as this scripture promises. Lord, I ask that you shower your love over Lindsey this day. Fill her with your love to overflowing. Let your love in her over flow to others where ever she goes. Let her feel your love just bubbling up within her. And I give you the glory Lord. The glory is not on us but on on you. All the glory. All the time. It all is yours Lord. I pray and ask this all in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen.

King James Version for your reference:

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

You are not far from the kingdom of God!

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for inquisitive minds. Thank you for inventive minds. Thank you for reasoning minds. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question. (Mark 12:29-34)

Lord, I’m here again to sit with you. And right now I wish to lift up Lindsey, your daughter who loves you with all her heart, soul and strength. And so I ask that you show her that she is not far from the kingdom of God today. Show her how close she is to your Kingdom Lord. Give her a word or a vision. Let this knowledge help her to walk closer to you each day. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Hard Hearted?

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the sun in the day and the moon and stars in the night. Thank you for stars that twinkle and sunsets that sparkle. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes. And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties. And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. And they did all eat, and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened. (Mark 6:38-44,52)

Lord, I’m ready to begin a new day’s prayer for your daughter who you love. Lindsey, being hard hearted is not a good thing. But it seems like our hearts may just tend to be that way. In this scripture we read about an all out amazing miracle… feeding 5,000 men with just 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread! But look what it says about the disciples – the guys who were travelling with Jesus day after day. They were trying to follow Jesus as best as they could. Yet, here we are told that their hearts were hard … they were hard hearted! If even Jesus’s closest disciples ended up hard hearted after witnessing such an amazing miracle, what can we do? How can we avoid a hard heart?

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. (Hebrews 3:12-13)

It seems like one way to avoid having hard hearts is to take heed … to take care! Watch out that our hearts do not become unbelieving so we fall away from the living God! I pray that you heed this warning Lindsey, for it seems to be talking about people who really are trying to follow Jesus … just that they let their guard down and a bit of disbelief slips in … and they fall away without even noticing it! To avoid this we need to encourage each other each day, so I pray that the Lord would continually surround you with people who will not only encourage you, but who will notice and let you know any time you are starting to stray from the living God. I pray that you would not be deceived by what seems like good ideas in the world around you. And since by definition, if you are deceived you cannot notice it yourself, I pray that there would always be godly people to cross your path that will not shy away from telling you!

But what if you find yourself with a hard heart? How can we remove a hard heart? God can do it!

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 11:17-20)

Lindsey, I pray that any time you find your heart hardening that you will call out to God to remove the stony heart and replace it with a heart of flesh. I ask that God would give you an undivided heart so that he would remain your focus every day. I pray that God would give you that new spirit and that you will walk with him and be a do-er! Do what God is asking. Lord, this can be very hard, so I pray that you would be Lindsey’s strength. Grant her the wisdom to see what she needs to see. Grant her the courage to walk where she needs to walk, for she is your daughter and you are her God. And we give you the glory. All the glory is yours. Glory! I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

I Pray That You Are Praying!

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for another day. Thank you for my breath and my life. Thank you for always being with me. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Lord, I’m here as usual to begin another day’s prayer for your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I am praying that you are praying! Yes indeed, because when you pray, God will listen. If you seek him with all your heart you will indeed find him. God has good plans for you… plans that give you a future and a hope… plans to prosper you. And so, I pray today that you will pray. God is waiting to hear from his daughter! Pray knowing God will answer you. And together let’s give him the glory. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Turn to God With All Your Heart and Soul

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for a fresh new day. Thank you for a refreshing day anew with you. Thank you for the stars above early this morning and for the cool clean crisp air. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. (Deuteronomy 30:9-10)

Lord, I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you with all her heart. I ask that you speak to her today. I ask that you let her hear your voice, especially while she is reading your Word. Lindsey, I pray that you will continue to strive to not only read God’s commandments and statutes written in the Word, but that you would keep and obey them.  I pray that your whole heart and soul would turn to the Lord as you strive to follow him. I pray that you hear his voice today – that you hear it clearly, for he is rejoicing over you for good just as he rejoiced over your fathers! And we will give all the glory to God. The glory all goes to God. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Godly friends can refresh your heart in times of need

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for differences … how soft is not hard; sweet is not sour; loud is not quiet. And thank you for the scripture for this prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.  Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say. (Philemon 1:20-21)

Lord, I’m here. It’s me again as usual. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter. Lindsey, this scripture is interesting. Paul is writing to his brother in Christ and tells him that he is confident that this brother he is writing to will be more than just obedient and do more than that required. Knowing him like this was refreshing to Paul. He could feel the joy of the Lord by just knowing this other man. Lindsey, I pray this scripture over you from both sides. I pray that you might be like Paul and have many godly people that you have so much confidence in that you know they will be there for you when most needed. I pray that the Lord would fill you with his joy as you interact with them. May your heart be refreshed. But I also pray that you would be like “the other guy”. I pray that others may see you as THEIR godly friend who they can count on during times of great need. I pray that they would feel God’s joy in them even as they merely tell you about their significant need. And together we glorify God. We give all the glory to him. I pray this all in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Seek God with all your heart and your whole desire. Rejoice, be happy and take delight in it!

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the sunshine. Thank you for the clouds. Thank you for the needed rain. Thank you for all the weather changes. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for Lindsey:

And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about. (2 Chronicles 15:15)

Lord, I’m here. I’m here as usual. I’m here on behalf of your daughter who loves you. Lindsey, this is a wonderful scripture to pray over you today because I know that you seek the lord with your whole desire, with all your heart. I pray that you will rejoice just as all Judah did. I pray that you will find delight in worshiping the Lord. I pray that you will find peace on every side around you. And we will give the glory to God. The glory is all to him. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

GNT:
All the people of Judah were happy because they had made this covenant with all their heart. They took delight in worshiping the Lord, and he accepted them and gave them peace on every side.

Oh what Wonders God has prepared for you since you love him!

Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for my health, my heart and my head. Thank you for your word and for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. (1 Corinthians 2:9-11)

This refers to Isaiah:

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. (Isaiah 64:4)

Lord, it’s me. I am here as usual to pray for Lindsey, your daughter who loves you. Today I pray wonders over you Lindsey. Just think! Think of all the wonderful and interesting things you have seen on your world travels. Think of all the cool things you have heard. This scripture reminds us that all of it … everything that you have seen and heard can’t compare to what God has prepared for those who love him as you do. And he loves you too! He really does! So, now I pray that God would give you a vision or dream of the things waiting for you. I pray that he would give you just a taste of the wonders waiting for you! And together let’s give the glory to him. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Fill your heart with good treasures

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the new day. Thank you for the rains needed by the plants and animals. Thank you for the sun for warmth as well as for light in the day. And thank you for the lights in the night – the moon and all the stars. And thank you for the scriptures for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12:40)

Yes, the book of Jonah says this:

17 Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. (Jonah 1:17)

Yes, but why did Jesus refer to Jonah at all? It was because the scribes and Pharisees had an attitude problem and were demanding a sign or miracle right then and there! Thus this scripture is a good follow up from the prayer of yesterday where I prayed that you would watch over your heart that it would not become hardened:

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: (Matthew 12:34-39)

Lord, I’m back (as usual). I am ready to begin another prayer for Lindsey. Today’s scripture is interesting on many levels. We begin by hearing Jesus refer to his coming death, burial and resurrection by comparing it to the prophet Jonah. Jonah thought he was running away from God, but he ended up being the sign for the ages! But I think it it is just as interesting to see what had just happened before Jesus said this. He saw the generation around him and warned them to look at their hearts! He even gave them an easy way to tell if their hearts were filled with good or with evil.. just look at what they say and do. And so once again I pray for your heart Lindsey. Jesus considered your heart as essential and said that you could store up good or evil in it. I pray that today you store up much good in your heart. I pray that each day you actively look for ways that you can store up good treasures in your heart to keep it fully filled. I also pray that you always will pay attention to what you say because Jesus said it comes from the abundance of your heart. I pray that you will always use this as an early detection system for your heart. If you notice evil coming out of your mouth, I pray that you would find time to pause and refill your heart with good treasures again. And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Don’t look at what you are lacking. Look at your abundance while guarding your heart.

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for taste. Thank you for letting us taste the things we eat and drink. Thank you for your creation filled with such a wide variety of tastes. Thank you for things that taste sweet as well as bitter or sour. Thank you for both hot and cold tastes that can differ. Thank you for all these things that we tend to take for granted every day. And thank you for the scriptures to use in today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack. (2 Corinthians 8:11-15)

Yes, it is written in Exodus:

17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. (Exodus 16:17-18)

Lord, as usual, here I am. I come to sit with you every day… many times during the day. But right now I wish to begin a new prayer for Lindsey, your daughter you love. Lindsey, these short scriptures say much, and I will pray them over you now. First I pray that you will not worry about what you don’t have. Scriptures clearly say that God is looking at what you do with what you DO have. I pray that you will be able to cease worrying about what you are lacking so that you can focus on what you have in abundance! Finally, I pray that God would guide you in your abundance. When you have an abundance of something I pray that God would show you ways to help others with it. I pray that you will always find ways to share your talents and skills with others, but also I pray a bigger prayer. I pray that greed would not tempt you. I pray that you would always see ways to share your abundance with others and that the Lord would reward you with joy in your heart. I pray that you would never lack joy in your heart. I believe I also can share something God told me seven years ago. Yes, this was a word for ME, and not for anyone else. But it did come to mind as I was writing this prayer for you today. “There is no need to fear what we are lacking. Rather fear the hardening of our hearts.” I pray that you would watch over your heart Lindsey. Watch for signs that it is hardening and then take action to keep a soft heart. I pray that God would be your guide in this each day of your journey. And we will give the glory to him. All the glory goes to him. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
