Accept God’s Deliverance and Be Holy, Otherwise You May Get What You Deserve

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for my life. Thank you for my breath. Thank you for healing my knees. Thank you for helping me to maintain a thankful heart. And thank you for the scripture for today for Lindsey:

For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.
But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. (Obadiah 1:15-17)

Lord, here I am. I am here to lift up Lindsey, your daughter who loves you. I pray that you will remind her how you have delivered her. Lindsey, Jesus died for your sins so that you don’t get what you deserve (which is death). Instead you are delivered, rescued, saved! So live holy and full of joy. May those around you want what you have and accept God’s deliverance as well. And all the glory we give to God. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

The Joy of the Lord is your Strength

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the wind. We know not where it comes from nor where it goes. We cannot see it yet we know it is there. Thank you for the wind to be an example for us in these ways. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:8-10)

Lord, I’m here. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you and loves reading your word each day. Lindsey, this is a good scripture to remember as you read God’s Word and see how you may not have been living it out fully. Nehemiah, Ezra and the Levites saw the people weeping as they heard the Word of God. They told the people to not weep but to celebrate for a day when you gain understanding of God’s Word is holy. Lindsey, may each day be holy for you as you gain understanding to what you read in God’s Word. Rejoice knowing that the JOY OF THE LORD is your strength! And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Be Holy

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the night sky. Thank you for the many stars … not just hundreds or thousands but millions upon millions of individual stars. And thank you for the Perseid meteorite shower which I just watched. Thank you for the clear sky and the lack of moonlight so that the sky would be best for viewing the “shooting stars”. Thank you for this glorious evidence of your creation. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16)

It is written in Leviticus:

44 For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Leviticus 11:44)

Lord, I’m here. I’m here as every day. I’m here to lift up Lindsey to you. I’m here on her behalf. Lord, you are telling Lindsey to be holy.  You would not tell her to do something that is not possible for her to do, so we know that she can indeed be holy. And so now I ask that you be with her every step of the way. I ask that you would be her strength. I ask that you would surround her with godly people that provide her examples of living holy, being holy.  And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings.  Amen (more…)

(H) You are Called to Holiness

Heavenly Father, thank you for being my provider and protector. Thank you for being my guide and teacher. Thank you for my breath and my life. And thank you for calling us into holiness as in the scripture for the letter H for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. (1 Thessalonians 4:7)

Lord, it’s me again … here with you as usual when I come each day on behalf of your daughter who loves you. Today I ask that you indeed call her unto holiness. I ask that you protect her from uncleanness, impurity and immorality. Be her guide today as always. Open her eyes to see the path you lay out before her today. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

(H) God is Holy

Good Morning Heavenly Father. What a marvelous creation you have created for us. There is beauty everywhere if we look for it. I just was amazed at a huge flower that blossomed right here before me. It was far larger than my entire hand. Thank you for creating such beauty … such a beautiful blooming flower that lasts only a few days. How much more can we be sure you will take good care of us! Thank you Lord! And thank your for the scripture about yourself for the letter H for today’s prayer:

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:15-16)

Lord, I am back again. I’m here to pray for your holy daughter, Lindsey. She wants to be holy just as you say that she is. I ask that you help her in her quest to be holy. I ask that you keep her on track this day and that you find ways to let her know how well she is doing! And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, Lord of lords. Amen (more…)
