Continue loving God by keeping his commandments and he will lavish his love on you!
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for my breath. Thank you for my life. Thank you for watching over me so diligently. And thank you for the scripture to use in my prayer for your daughter Lindsey this day:
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:6)
Lord, I’m here. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you with her whole heart. Lindsey, I pray that you will always remember that keeping God’s commandments is not a suggestion. Obeying his commands is not just a good idea. God tells us that if we love him that we must keep his commandments. But in the same breath God also said that then he would lavish his unfailing love on us, that he would show mercy unto us. Lord I ask that you show mercy to Lindsey. I ask that you lavish your unfailing love on her. Lord, I ask that intertwining her obedience to your love and mercy would take root in your daughter. Let her see how they are interconnected and tied together. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours Lord. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Give … and it then will be given to you in the same measure!
Heavenly Father good morning. Thank you for cereal. Thank you for the many kinds. Thank you that we can eat cereal any time day or night. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for Lindsey (who also really really likes cereal):
[Jesus said:] But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:35-38)
Lord, I’m here as usual to begin another day’s prayer for your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I pray another scripture over you regarding giving. This time Jesus is encouraging us to be generous, for in the same measure that we are generous, that same measure will be used when he is gracious to us. So I pray that God would keep your heart soft. I pray that God would fill you so full of joy that you can only think about how to respond to him. I pray that being generous would continue to be simply a way of life for you. And I pray that those around you would see this in you as you are a role model for them. Awake Stringed Instrument – Awake Early
Heavenly Father, good morning! I welcome the new day with you. Thank you for my voice, that I can speak and others can hear. Thank you for language that we can communicate with each other. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. (Psalm 108:1-4)
Lord, it’s me again. I am here on behalf of your daughter who loves you! I ask that you would be with her whenever she awakes early for you. Let her violin awake with her as well so that together they can praise you Lord. Let her praise you for your loyal, constant love. Your mercy is so great it reaches to the heavens. I ask that you answer her as she praises you Lord. And all the glory goes to you. The glory is all yours! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Trust in the Lord and his mercy and lovingkindness will surround you
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for another interesting day with more “coincidences” that just had to be you! Thank you for letting me be normal again today (defined as: feeling your presence all around me all day). And thank you for the scripture to base my prayer for Lindsey today:
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about. (Psalm 32:10)
Lord, I’m back. Out of breath, but couldn’t wait to be here with you so that I could begin another prayer for your daughter you love! Lindsey, today I pray that you will always trust in the Lord. And I pray that the Lord would show you his mercy. That you would be surrounded by his mercy and lovingkindness. I pray that you will feel God’s faithful love all around you all day today as well as tomorrow. And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is yours Lord. Blessing: May You Be Shown Mercy as you are merciful
Lindsey, today is the fifth blessing from the Sermon on the Mount. I pray that you are merciful, Lindsey, for then you will be shown mercy.
Good Morning Heavenly Father! What a beautiful new day. Slight breeze. Crisp fresh air. Sun just about ready to rise. Thank you for arranging the heavens in just the right manner so that the earth would be a perfect fit for us. And thank you for the scripture where Jesus said:
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. (Matthew 5:7)
Lord, it is a joy to be sitting with you today. Yes, I am here to bless your daughter Lindsey again. Lindsey, today’s blessing over you is simple yet profound. I pray that you will be ever merciful Lindsey. And then I bless you with mercy shown to you. And we will both give glory to the Lord. All the glory is his. Blessing: May God Shine His Light On You So You May Follow His Way
May the Lord be merciful to you Lindsey and bless you. May he turn his face to shine his light on you so you may learn to follow his way.
Heavenly Father, good morning. What a glorious set of seasons and of a variety of weather you created for us. Springlike weather the past two days and a foot of snow today followed by thunderstorms and rain tomorrow. Thank you for weather that is not constantly the same and boring :) And thank you for the scripture to use to bless your daughter Lindsey:
God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. (Psalm 67:1-3)
Lord, I am happy to be here with you this morning so that I can bless your daughter you love. Lindsey, I pray that God will pour his grace and blessings into you and that his light would shine on you. May many others come to join you in praising our true God who comes to redeem nations. Lindsey, I pray this blessing over you today. May God the Father and Jesus Christ grant you grace, mercy and peace in truth and love.
Heavenly Father, thank you for being our provider and protector. Thank you for being our guide and lighting the way you would have us go. Thank you for your many blessings. And thank you for the blessing from scripture to pray over your daughter you love this day:
Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. (2 John 1:3)
Lord, I am here again (as usual) and am ready to pray another blessing over your daughter Lindsey. And so I repeat the blessing over you Lindsey: May God the Father and Jesus Christ grant you grace, mercy and peace in truth and love. Blessing: Grace, Mercy and Peace unto you
I bless you this day, Lindsey, with God’s grace, mercy and peace.
Good Morning Heavenly Father. I welcome another day with you. Another day with you. Just yesterday I was thinking how that actually is quite true for me. Thank you for being with me everywhere I go in this world. Thank you that I can be with you and be out in the world at the same time. Thank you for the many miracles that are around me each day. And thank you for the next blessing for your daughter you love taken right from scriptures:
Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Timothy 1:2)
Lord, I’m here again to bless your daughter Lindsey from Paul’s blessing to Timothy. It is a quite simple blessing. But then again, simple is quite enough. Boldly Approach God’s Throne of Grace with Confidence
Heavenly Father, Good Morning! What a wonderful day. Thank you for the light wind which comes and goes and can’t be seen. Thank you for the community of people around me, all created in your image. And thank you for the scripture to use in my prayer for your daughter Lindsey this day:
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
Lord, it’s me again. I’m happy to be here with you again on behalf of your daughter. I know that I can boldly come before you with confidence. And today I ask that you remind Lindsey of this as well. As a daughter you love, she can boldly come to you. In her time of need, she can have full confidence in approaching you. Extend your mercy to her this day Lord. And we will give you the glory.
