Awake Stringed Instrument – Awake Early

Heavenly Father, good morning! I welcome the new day with you. Thank you for my voice, that I can speak and others can hear. Thank you for language that we can communicate with each other. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. (Psalm 108:1-4)

Lord, it’s me again. I am here on behalf of your daughter who loves you! I ask that you would be with her whenever she awakes early for you. Let her violin awake with her as well so that together they can praise you Lord. Let her praise you for your loyal, constant love. Your mercy is so great it reaches to the heavens. I ask that you answer her as she praises you Lord. And all the glory goes to you. The glory is all yours! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

NET:
I am determined, O God!
I will sing and praise you with my whole heart.
Awake, O stringed instrument and harp!
I will wake up at dawn!
I will give you thanks before the nations, O Lord!
I will sing praises to you before foreigners!
For your loyal love extends beyond the sky,
and your faithfulness reaches the clouds.

GNT:
I have complete confidence, O God!
I will sing and praise you!
Wake up, my soul!
Wake up, my harp and lyre!
I will wake up the sun.
I will thank you, O Lord, among the nations.
I will praise you among the peoples.
Your constant love reaches above the heavens;
    your faithfulness touches the skies.

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
