Do not grieve. Wipe away the tears. Let joy be seen in your eyes again.
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for creating us and for saving us through Jesus. Thank you for giving us this scripture regarding your promise of eternal life for those who leave this world to be with you:
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)
and
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. (2 Corinthians 4:13-14)
Lord, I am here. I am here on behalf of your daughter Lindsey, who has lost a very dear friend. I ask that you be with her and be her comforter. Lindsey, just as Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, I write my prayer for you to remind you of things you already know, for you are not ignorant concerning how everlasting life is waiting for each of us. You read God’s Word each day, so you are not uninformed about those who sleep in death.
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. (2 Peter 1:12)
Lindsey, today I remind you of the faith and the hope that you already have. So, don’t be concerned about your good friend Gavi. Paul reminds you to not grieve for him. For we know he has eternal life as his hope is fulfilled. So, be comforted. I pray that once again God would fill you with his joy so that you could celebrate how Jesus has brought Gavi to him. I pray that the joy of the Lord could be seen in your eyes again. And in this we give the glory to God. All the glory is his. Glory. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Guard your mind and heart from the corruption in the world around you
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for sending your Son to be our savior. Thank you Jesus for dying for us. Thank you God for raising Jesus from the dead. And thank you for the scriptures for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. (2 Peter 2:20-22)
Yes, the book of Proverbs does say this:
11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly. (Proverbs 26:11)
Lord, I’m here as usual to begin another prayer for your daughter Lindsey. I’m here on her behalf Lord. And today I pray that you would protect Lindsey from getting entangled in the corruption of the world around her, especially since she is in the public eye and is seen as a role model for many. Lord, I ask that you guard her mind and her heart from all the defilements that the world sets before her eyes. I ask that you continue to place godly people all around her. I ask that you show Lindsey some of your plans for her. I ask that you bring clarity to her vision Lord. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Blessing: May you walk in God’s Ways Keeping All His Commands
Today I bless you Lindsey and remind you that the Lord will not leave you, will not abandon you, and will not forsake you. May you incline your heart unto him and walk in obedience in all his ways.
Heavenly Father, good morning. This morning I woke up refreshed and new and all is well. Thank you for being with me while I sleep. Thank you for being with me while I am awake! Thank you for showing me the way and then walking with me on that path. And thank you for the scripture that I am using as a basis for blessing your daughter Lindsey today:
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. (1 Kings 8:57-58)
Lord, here I am. Hear me. Hear my blessing over you daughter who loves you. Lindsey, today I bless you and remind you of something you already know (for Peter advised us to remind each other of things we know – see scripture below). God will never leave you. God is with you … right now! And right now I pray that you will incline your heart unto him and walk in his ways, knowing that he is right there walking with you. I bless you in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. All the glory is to God. We give you the glory Lord. Amen
BONUS SCRIPTURE (remind others of things they already know):
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. (2 Peter 1:12)
Blessing: Full Measure of Grace and Peace so you may Share in the Divine Nature
Lindsey, today I bless you with a full measure of grace and peace so that you may share in the divine nature.
Heavenly Father, thank you for colors … and not just three colors, not even 30 or 300. Thank you for the fantastic array of colors that our eyes can see. Thank you for the way colors can enhance beauty. And thank you for another scripture to use as a blessing for your daughter you love:
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:2-4)
Lord, here I am and I am ready to bless your daughter Lindsey again today. Yes! Lindsey, as you grow in the knowledge of God and of Jesus, I bless you with a full measure of grace and peace. May you reflect God’s true nature through this knowledge. May you escape from the corruption of the world and experience life sharing the divine nature. I pray in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
