Today I bless you Lindsey and remind you that the Lord will not leave you, will not abandon you, and will not forsake you. May you incline your heart unto him and walk in obedience in all his ways.
Heavenly Father, good morning. This morning I woke up refreshed and new and all is well. Thank you for being with me while I sleep. Thank you for being with me while I am awake! Thank you for showing me the way and then walking with me on that path. And thank you for the scripture that I am using as a basis for blessing your daughter Lindsey today:
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. (1 Kings 8:57-58)
Lord, here I am. Hear me. Hear my blessing over you daughter who loves you. Lindsey, today I bless you and remind you of something you already know (for Peter advised us to remind each other of things we know – see scripture below). God will never leave you. God is with you … right now! And right now I pray that you will incline your heart unto him and walk in his ways, knowing that he is right there walking with you. I bless you in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. All the glory is to God. We give you the glory Lord. Amen
BONUS SCRIPTURE (remind others of things they already know):
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. (2 Peter 1:12)
NLT:
May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us. May he give us the desire to do his will in everything and to obey all the commands, decrees, and regulations that he gave our ancestors.
Voice:
May the Eternal our God live among us, just as He lived with our ancestors. May He never abandon or neglect us so that He can make us desire and walk in His ways, keeping all the commands, laws, and judgments He gave to our ancestors.
HCSB (for Bonus Scripture):
Therefore I will always remind you about these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth you have. (2 Peter 1:12)
