Dividing Your Loyalty between the World and God makes you Unstable
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the way our bodies are designed to keep us safe. We can touch something hot and back away. We can smell something “rotten” and discard it. We can see a danger approaching and react immediately. And thank you for giving us your Word as our guide, especially the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. (James 1:5-6,8)
Lord, I’m here again on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter you love. Lindsey, God has told you that you can ask for wisdom. He promised to hear and grant your request. And I will join you in this request. Lord, I ask that you grant Lindsey much wisdom for many around her are watching her and you are her generous God. And Lindsey, God also is reminding you to have faith in him and to never waver. Take care to not be double minded and divide your loyalty between God and the world, for this will eventually lead to living an unstable life where ever you go. Trust in God only. Don’t waver or waves on the sea will toss you around and you will be unstable. Lord, help Lindsey to stay stable. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours. Glory. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Let your actions show that you believe God!
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for family. And thank you for the three scriptures for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. (James 2:23)
It was the first book of the Bible (Genesis) which said it:
6 And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness. (Genesis 15:6)
And then in 2 Chronicles it says Abraham was God’s friend:
7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? (2 Chronicles 20:7)
Lord, it’s me again. I would like to begin my next daily prayer for your daughter you love. Yes, Lindsey believes you Lord, so I ask that you count that as righteousness for her. I ask that you call her your friend! However, Lindsey, be sure to read the 4 sentences that come before this statement in James! Be reminded that it is more than what you believe, more than mere faith … it is what you actually DO in addition to your faith and believing God. So, Lord, I ask that you give Lindsey many opportunities to put her faith into action. Give her many opportunities to actually DO things that align with her faith and what she hears you saying to her. Let her hear you clearly Lord. And give her the courage to actually do things that are not in her comfort zone! And we will give the glory to you. The glory is all yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Grace and Favor are Yours When You Remain Humble
Heavenly Father, good morning! Thank you moonlight. Thank you for moonlight so bright that you can see all around you. And thank you for the moonless nights once a month where the stars just glitter and shine… where “shooting stars” are so visible and amazing. And thank you for the scriptures for today’s prayer for Lindsey:
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (James 4:6)
He said it in Proverbs:
34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly. (Proverbs 3:34)
Lord, I’m here again. I’m here to sit with you. The world seems a bit out of focus today, but I know that I can sit with you regardless of my situation. And now I ask you to look upon your daughter Lindsey. She loves you Lord. And now I pray for you Lindsey. I pray that you would always see a way to remain humble in spite of being set high by thousands of your fans. I pray that you would feel a pang* in your spirit any time you begin to feel arrogantly proud. I pray that when you sense this, that you’d look to Jesus and be proud that you are his friend and delight. Lord, I ask that you watch over Lindsey on the journey you set before her. It is so very tempting to become proud when continually, day after day, people are telling you that you are the greatest, the the most talented, the most inspirational. Lord, you gave the exceptional talents and skills to Lindsey and you want her to use them to the fullest. And so I pray that you also grant her exceptional grace and favor as she strives to remain humble amidst the mountains of praise heaped on her every single day. Grant her your favor Lord. Grant her your grace. Show her how to properly react to praise she receives. And we will give you the glory. We will give you the praise. All praise and glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (*see note at the end of the prayer scriptures)
*NOTE: I wasn’t sure if I was using “pang” correctly, so I did a DEFINE: PANG in google and look at what was at the very top of the results (true – I did not edit this at all – the example used the name Lindsey):
-
a sudden sharp pain or painful emotion.“Lindsey experienced a sharp pang of guilt”synonyms: pain, sharp pain, shooting pain, twinge, stab, spasm
Are you merry, happy, celebrating? Sing psalms and praises to God!
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the sunrise which is coming earlier and earlier during this time in June.Thank you for the dawning of the day and the dew on the grass. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for Lindsey:
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. (James 5:13)
Lord, it’s me again. I am happy to be here with you to start a new prayer for a new day for your daughter. Lord, come sit and talk with Lindsey and ask her if she is merry. Ask her if she is happy. Ask her if she feels like celebrating. And then I ask that you give her the opportunity to sing praises to you Lord. Give her the chance to sing and play to you. Let her sing psalms to you God. And we will give you the glory. The glory is yours! I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

(N) God is Nigh; God is Near
Good Morning Heavenly Father! Thank you for waking me to welcome another glorious marvelous day. Thank you for watching over me during the night and guiding me during the day. Thank you for the godly people you place in my path this day as you always have in the past decade! And thank you for the scripture that reminds us that you are nigh, that you are near. I just need to draw near to you and you draw even nearer to me. I just need to call on you and there you are – near to me! Thank you for the scripture that reminds us of this for the letter N this day:
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. (Psalm 145:18)
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (James 4:8)
Lord, I have been anxious to come and be with you now. I am eager to come near to you. And now I wish to ask something for your daughter Lindsey. Lord, I ask that you be near to her today. Even more than usual. Be near to her the entire day so that she can truly sense your presence all around her. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this in the name and with the authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen.
