Are you merry, happy, celebrating? Sing psalms and praises to God!

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the sunrise which is coming earlier and earlier during this time in June.Thank you for the dawning of the day and the dew on the grass. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for Lindsey:

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. (James 5:13)

Lord, it’s me again. I am happy to be here with you to start a new prayer for a new day for your daughter. Lord, come sit and talk with Lindsey and ask her if she is merry. Ask her if she is happy. Ask her if she feels like celebrating. And then I ask that you give her the opportunity to sing praises to you Lord. Give her the chance to sing and play to you. Let her sing psalms to you God. And we will give you the glory. The glory is yours! I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

Voice:
Are any in your community suffering? They should pray. Are any celebrating? They should sing praises to God.

NLT:
Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
