Rest, and let your Heavenly Father carry you like a father carries his child

Heavenly Father, it’s me. I am enjoying your presence now and thank you for your promise to be with me, that if I draw near to you then you will draw near to me. Thank you for walking with me, for being my guide, for lighting the way. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the Lord thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. (Deuteronomy 1:30-31)

Lord, I am here … let me rest in you. And while I rest here, let me begin today’s prayer for your daughter you love. Today I pray for you Lindsey, that you would see before your eyes how your God goes before you and fights for you. I pray that you will see how God not only fights for you, but also can pick you up and carry you when you let him. If you feel exhausted, just rest in him and let him carry you for a bit, just like a father will carry his son. And we can give the glory to God. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Seek the Lord with all your heart and soul and you will find him

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the sunrise and the sunset, both magnificent in their beauty and their splendor. No artist can exceed the beauty that you set forth in your creation. And thank you for the scripture to use for my prayer for Lindsey today:

But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)

Lord, here I am. I came to sit with you and to lift up your daughter who loves you. Lindsey, I pray that you will continue to seek the Lord with all your heart and soul. I pray that you would find him today, just as he promised you would. I pray that he would bring clarity to your day and to your journey.  And we can give all the glory to God. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Blessing: Live Long and Prosper (including Spock YouTube clips)

Lindsey, the 40 consecutive days of blessings ends with one you should enjoy since it was made popular by the Spock greeting on Star Trek saying “Live long and prosper!” (see YouTube clips after the prayer). And so I bless you once more Lindsey. May you live long and prosper!

Heavenly Father, good morning! Thank you for another day, another new day, another new day with you! Thank you for my breath and for my life. Thank you for being with me always. And thank you for these blessings from scripture that relate directly to today’s blessing for your daughter – from Ephesians, 3 John and Deuteronomy:

  • Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever. (Deuteronomy 4:40)
  • Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. (Deuteronomy 5:16)
  • Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. (Deuteronomy 5:33)
  • Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2)
  • Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. (Ephesians 6:2-3)

Lord, it’s me. I am here again to conclude 40 days of blessings prayed daily over your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I pray that you would live long and prosper. I pray that it may go well with you and that you would have good health. And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

And background to the hand gesture (today’s blessing already covered the background to Star Trek’s Spock saying “live long and prosper”):

Blessing: Choose! A Blessing or a Curse

Lindsey, today’s blessing is right from Deuteronomy and you are offered a choice. Choose well. Behold, set before you is a blessing and a curse. Obey the Lord’s commandments and receive his gracious blessing. Or disobey his commandments and turn aside from his way and face his curse. Choose life. Choose the blessing Lindsey!

Good Morning Heavenly Father! Thank you for kindness.  Your unending kindness! Kindness that others show to me. Kindness that I show to others. Thank you for the affect that unexpected kindness has on people. And thank you for the scripture to use for blessing your daughter today.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

Lord, I’m here again. I am fasting and praying for your daughter you love and ask that you both heal her and let her hear you clearly. And now, Lindsey, I refer to a choice that is set before you. Behold, set before you is a blessing and a curse. You have a choice. Obey the Lord and he will shower his gracious blessings upon you. Turn aside from God’s path and face his curse. Choose life Lindsey! Choose to be blessed! And we can both give glory to the Lord. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Blessing: May God Love you and Bless You and Your Land

May the Lord love you and bless you this day Lindsey. May he bless you, your family and your land.

Heavenly Father, good morning. I welcome a new day with you Lord. I praise you for this day in the midst of your creation where evidence of you is everywhere. Thank you for being here in our midst! And thank you for the scripture that contains the blessing for your daughter this day:

Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. (Deuteronomy 7:12-13)

Lord, I am happy to come and sit with you today to bless your daughter you love yet again. Lindsey, I bless you today and pray that the Lord would love you and that you would feel his love. May he bless you and your family and your land. And we will give all the glory to him. The glory is all yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Blessing: You will be Blessed at Home and Anywhere Around the World that You Go

Today, Lindsey, I pray that you will be blessed when you are at home and also that you are blessed when you leave to go out into the world, anywhere you go!

Heavenly Father, thank you for my home. Thank you for my family. Thank you for being our guide as well as our protector and provider. And thank you for the scripture to bless your daughter with this day:

Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. (Deuteronomy 28:6)

Lord, I sense important things in the midst right now, this day, this week, this month. And so I am very happy to pray another blessing over your daughter Lindsey. And so, Lindsey, I am praying this blessing over you while you are in the midst of “going out”. Yes, today I pray that you will be blessed when you return home and also that you will be blessed each day that you have gone out! And we will give all the glory to you Lord. The glory is all yours! Amen (more…)
