Blessing: Choose! A Blessing or a Curse

Lindsey, today’s blessing is right from Deuteronomy and you are offered a choice. Choose well. Behold, set before you is a blessing and a curse. Obey the Lord’s commandments and receive his gracious blessing. Or disobey his commandments and turn aside from his way and face his curse. Choose life. Choose the blessing Lindsey!

Good Morning Heavenly Father! Thank you for kindness.  Your unending kindness! Kindness that others show to me. Kindness that I show to others. Thank you for the affect that unexpected kindness has on people. And thank you for the scripture to use for blessing your daughter today.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

Lord, I’m here again. I am fasting and praying for your daughter you love and ask that you both heal her and let her hear you clearly. And now, Lindsey, I refer to a choice that is set before you. Behold, set before you is a blessing and a curse. You have a choice. Obey the Lord and he will shower his gracious blessings upon you. Turn aside from God’s path and face his curse. Choose life Lindsey! Choose to be blessed! And we can both give glory to the Lord. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

ESV:
See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way that I am commanding you today, to go after other gods that you have not known.

HCSB:
Look, today I set before you a blessing and a curse: there will be a blessing, if you obey the commands of the Lord your God I am giving you today, and a curse, if you do not obey the commands of the Lord your God and you turn aside from the path I command you today by following other gods you have not known.

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
