May the Lord give you rest and go with you on all your journeys
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for thunder and lightning. Thank you for the awesome display in the sky. Thank you for the beauty in the flash of light across the sky. Thank you for the power in the clap of thunder. And thank you for the scripture to use as the basis for my prayer for your daughter you love:
And Moses said unto the Lord, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me,carry us not up hence. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. (Exodus 33:12-17)
Lord, it’s me again. I enjoy being with you. And now I’d like to pray for your daughter Lindsey. I pray that you would show her your ways. I pray that you would teach her your ways so that she can continue to find favor in your sight. I pray that you would speak to her today and tell her that you know her by name and that she has found favor in your sight. I pray that she would feel your presence with her where ever she goes. And I pray that you would give her rest. Lindsey, rest in the Lord today. And we will give all the glory to you Lord. The glory is all yours. Blessing: Live Long and Prosper (including Spock YouTube clips)
Lindsey, the 40 consecutive days of blessings ends with one you should enjoy since it was made popular by the Spock greeting on Star Trek saying “Live long and prosper!” (see YouTube clips after the prayer). And so I bless you once more Lindsey. May you live long and prosper!
Heavenly Father, good morning! Thank you for another day, another new day, another new day with you! Thank you for my breath and for my life. Thank you for being with me always. And thank you for these blessings from scripture that relate directly to today’s blessing for your daughter – from Ephesians, 3 John and Deuteronomy:
- Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever. (Deuteronomy 4:40)
- Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. (Deuteronomy 5:16)
- Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. (Deuteronomy 5:33)
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2)
- Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. (Ephesians 6:2-3)
Lord, it’s me. I am here again to conclude 40 days of blessings prayed daily over your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I pray that you would live long and prosper. I pray that it may go well with you and that you would have good health. And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

Lindsey, today’s blessing is one that specifically states that your blessings will go on and on and on and on. Yes! Today I pray that your blessings will continue each day from this day onward.
Good Morning Heavenly Father. I welcome another exciting day since I am anxious to bless your daughter. And so I thank you for each day providing me with a blessing in your Word that I could use as a basis for my blessing of her. Thank you. And thank you for the blessing from the book of Haggai:
Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you. (Haggai 2:19)
Lord, it’s me again. I’m here again (as usual) to bless your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I pray that all your blessings I have prayed over you these 40 days will be ongoing – that they will continue on and on and on and on. I pray that you will continue to be blessed each day from this day on. And we will give all the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Blessing: Choose! A Blessing or a Curse
Lindsey, today’s blessing is right from Deuteronomy and you are offered a choice. Choose well. Behold, set before you is a blessing and a curse. Obey the Lord’s commandments and receive his gracious blessing. Or disobey his commandments and turn aside from his way and face his curse. Choose life. Choose the blessing Lindsey!
Good Morning Heavenly Father! Thank you for kindness. Your unending kindness! Kindness that others show to me. Kindness that I show to others. Thank you for the affect that unexpected kindness has on people. And thank you for the scripture to use for blessing your daughter today.
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)
Lord, I’m here again. I am fasting and praying for your daughter you love and ask that you both heal her and let her hear you clearly. And now, Lindsey, I refer to a choice that is set before you. Behold, set before you is a blessing and a curse. You have a choice. Obey the Lord and he will shower his gracious blessings upon you. Turn aside from God’s path and face his curse. Blessing: May God Shine His Light On You So You May Follow His Way
May the Lord be merciful to you Lindsey and bless you. May he turn his face to shine his light on you so you may learn to follow his way.
Heavenly Father, good morning. What a glorious set of seasons and of a variety of weather you created for us. Springlike weather the past two days and a foot of snow today followed by thunderstorms and rain tomorrow. Thank you for weather that is not constantly the same and boring :) And thank you for the scripture to use to bless your daughter Lindsey:
God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. (Psalm 67:1-3)
Lord, I am happy to be here with you this morning so that I can bless your daughter you love. Lindsey, I pray that God will pour his grace and blessings into you and that his light would shine on you. May many others come to join you in praising our true God who comes to redeem nations. Blessing: May you see how good the Lord is
Lindsey, since you have placed your trust in the Lord, I bless you and pray that you will see the goodness of the Lord. I pray that he will show you how good and wonderful he is to all those who take shelter in him, as you have.
Heavenly Father, good morning! I welcome another day surrounded by your creation. I just saw an interesting documentary on the Monarch butterfly which migrates from Canada to Mexico and back, and the experts were wondering how they can navigate to precisely the right place and the right time (as well as how they can even make that LONG trip at all). And so I thank you for the beautiful butterflies that you created for us enjoy! And thank you also for the scripture that I am to use to bless your daughter today:
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. (Psalm 34:8)
Lord, I am here again. I am here to bless your daughter who loves and trusts in you. Lindsey, today I bless you with all the good gifts that the Lord showers upon you. You have but a taste of how good the Lord is. I pray that you hunger and thirst for him and that the Lord will continue to bless you in this each and every day. Blessing: May the Lord be Your Hope and Confidence so You May Bear Much Good Fruit
I pray this blessing over you today Lindsey. As you trust in the Lord, may he be your hope and your confidence. May you be like a good tree planted along a river, with solid roots so that you may withstand both heat and drought maintaining your youth and bearing much good fruit.
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for this world and everything in it. Thank you for the many many little things that often go by unnoticed. Thank you for coffee, and not just one kind of coffee but dozens and dozens of kinds. Thank you for cocoa and all the varieties of hot chocolate. Thank you for mornings sitting with you with a coffee or hot chocolate. And thank you for the scripture to base my blessing over your daughter this day:
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Lord, here I am. It’s me! I am here before your throne to pray for your daughter you love. I am here to bless her again this day. Lindsey, may you be blessed for trusting in the Lord. May he be your hope and confidence. May you be like a tree planted along side a stream with deep roots fed by its water. May you never be bothered by heat nor by drought. May your leaves always stay green and may you never stop producing good fruit. And we will give glory to the Lord. All the glory is his. I bless you today in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Blessing: You are Blessed Because You Believe in Jesus
Lindsey, today’s blessing is from Jesus who says that you are blessed because you believe even though you have not seen him. I bless you today in the name of Jesus.
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the beauty in the world around me. Thank you for the joy in your creation which is there for all to see always. And thank you for the blessing from scripture that I can use to bless your daughter Lindsey:
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20:29)
And the scripture that came to mind when I was thankful for the beauty and joy in the creation around us:
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side. The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. (Psalm 65:11-13)
Lord, I am glad to be able to be with you now to bless your daughter this day with words originally spoken by Jesus! Yes! Lindsey, you are blessed today for though you have not seen Jesus, you believe in him. And we both can give all the glory to God. The glory is all his. Blessing: Speak Good Words to Influence Others
As many around you celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with green beer, I will celebrate it with another special blessing for you Lindsey. Where ever you go, be the mouth of the Lord, even when you are not speaking since your music goes with you and you influence others. May the Lord make you as a fortified wall, may he make you utterly secure so that you can influence those around you rather then let them influence you or make you afraid to tell the world about your beliefs, about your God who is there to save you, rescue you and keep you safe.
Heavenly Father, good morning. I welcome the day celebrating a godly man who the world refers to as Saint Patrick. Thank you for providing a day named with holy reference and may it provide an excuse for some people to find you. Thank you for drawing them to you this day. And thank you for the special blessing in scriptures that I can pray over your beloved daughter Lindsey today:
Therefore thus saith the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord. And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible. (Jeremiah 15:19-21)
Lord, I am here again, ready to bless your daughter who loves you. Yes, today I pray this special blessing over you Lindsey, the blessing that I prayed at the very start of today’s prayer! While the world celebrates a godly man with drinking, may you celebrate this day acknowledging and praising our God Almighty. And we both can give all the glory to the Lord. The glory is all his. May the Lord love you and bless you this day Lindsey. May he bless you, your family and your land.
Heavenly Father, good morning. I welcome a new day with you Lord. I praise you for this day in the midst of your creation where evidence of you is everywhere. Thank you for being here in our midst! And thank you for the scripture that contains the blessing for your daughter this day:
Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. (Deuteronomy 7:12-13)
