Sing for joy with your violin and the sound of melody
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the rain and for how it is necessary for growth in the world around us. Thank you for so many examples of different ways things can grow. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. (Psalm 98:4-5)
Lord, I’m here again, on behalf your daughter Lindsey. I ask that you be with her this day and that she would have many opportunities to praise you with her violin. I ask that you be with her as she composes new joyful melodies and songs. Let her know that you hear her praise and her rejoicing in you. Be with her as she sings for joy to you. And all the glory is yours Lord. The glory all goes to God. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Play Praises to God as He Made You Glad
Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for the food we eat. Thank you for the house giving us shelter and a home. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. (Psalm 92:1-4)
Lord, I’m here again. I’m here on behalf of your daughter Lindsey. I ask that you continue to make her glad through your work. I ask that you allow her to triumph in your works! Give her many opportunities to play her violin in praise and thanksgiving to you today and this coming week… for your lovingkindness in the morning and for your faithfulness in the evening. And all the glory goes to you. The glory is all yours Lord. I ask this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Let your violin sing praises to God while you talk of his righteousness
Good Morning Heavenly Father. I welcome another new day with you. Thank you for your promise that I may start each day anew, anew with you. And thank you for the scripture about praising you with stringed instrument:
I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt. (Psalm 71:22-24)
Lord, I’m here again. I’m here to sit with you and to pray for your daughter you love. I pray for Lindsey this day. I ask that you hear her as she praises you on her violin. I ask that you reveal more of your faithfulness to her this day. Provide her with many opportunities to talk of your righteousness throughout the day today. God’s statutes can be your songs along your journey
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the very bright colors on the birds. The small bright yellow birds are quite beautiful sitting on the bird feeder just outside our window. And thank you for the scripture for today that speaks of having your statutes as songs along the way on our journey:
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. (Psalm 119:54)
Lord, I am here again to lift up Lindsey, your daughter you love. I ask that you fill her heart with the love of your statutes and that they would be like songs to her. Let your Word be like music in her heart as she journeys around the world. Let others notice it Lord. And the glory goes to you. All the glory is yours Lord. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. (Psalm 33:1-3)

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
