Let your violin sing praises to God while you talk of his righteousness

Good Morning Heavenly Father. I welcome another new day with you. Thank you for your promise that I may start each day anew, anew with you. And thank you for the scripture about praising you with stringed instrument:

I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt. (Psalm 71:22-24)

Lord, I’m here again. I’m here to sit with you and to pray for your daughter you love. I pray for Lindsey this day. I ask that you hear her as she praises you on her violin. I ask that you reveal more of your faithfulness to her this day. Provide her with many opportunities to talk of your righteousness throughout the day today. Let her sing and shout for joy over you so others ask her what is the reason for her joy! And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

NET:
I will express my thanks to you with a stringed instrument,
praising your faithfulness, O my God!
I will sing praises to you accompanied by a harp,
O Holy One of Israel!
My lips will shout for joy! Yes, I will sing your praises!
I will praise you when you rescue me!
All day long my tongue will also tell about your justice,
for those who want to harm me will be embarrassed and ashamed.

NLT:
Then I will praise you with music on the harp,
because you are faithful to your promises, O my God.
I will sing praises to you with a lyre,
    O Holy One of Israel.
I will shout for joy and sing your praises,
    for you have ransomed me.
I will tell about your righteous deeds
    all day long,
for everyone who tried to hurt me
    has been shamed and humiliated.

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
