Rest, and let your Heavenly Father carry you like a father carries his child

Heavenly Father, it’s me. I am enjoying your presence now and thank you for your promise to be with me, that if I draw near to you then you will draw near to me. Thank you for walking with me, for being my guide, for lighting the way. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the Lord thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. (Deuteronomy 1:30-31)

Lord, I am here … let me rest in you. And while I rest here, let me begin today’s prayer for your daughter you love. Today I pray for you Lindsey, that you would see before your eyes how your God goes before you and fights for you. I pray that you will see how God not only fights for you, but also can pick you up and carry you when you let him. If you feel exhausted, just rest in him and let him carry you for a bit, just like a father will carry his son. And we can give the glory to God. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Look out for the interests of others

Heavenly Father, hello. Thank you for the heart of compassion. Thank you for a humble love for others. Thank you for eyes to see that which is not visible. And thank you for the scripture that is the basis of today’s prayer for Lindsey, you daughter:

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. (Philippians 2:4)

Lord, I am pleased to be here. I am happy that you call me to come sit with you every day so that I can pray for your daughter Lindsey. It is a joy to lift Lindsey up to you Lord. I pray that you extend the compassion in her heart. I pray that you enhance her vision to see that which is not visible. I ask that you help her to look out for the interest of others ahead of her own interests. I pray that those who are watching her will see this and want to do the same! And we will give all the glory to you Lord. The glory is all yours. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

(C) God Cares for You

Good Day Heavenly Father. Thank you for all the many things that I can drink! Thank you for water, but also for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soda and milk shakes!  And thank you for the scripture for the letter C for my prayer this day for your daughter Lindsey:

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Lord, I am here with you now to pray for your daughter you love and care for. Help her to know that she can indeed cast all her worries and cares upon you because you care for her! Lift the weight of those worries and cares from her Lord.  Let her feel lighter as she walks with you. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Troubles? Trust in the Lord who is good!

Hello Heavenly Father! Thank you for watching over my family yesterday. I know you will watch over us today as well. Thank you for always being with us and never leaving us. Thank you for being our guide, for lighting a path for us to follow. Thank you Lord. And thank you for highlighting this scripture for me so that I would use it as a basis for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. (Nahum 1:7)

Yes, it’s me here before your throne. I am here again to lift up your talented daughter who puts all her trust in you.  I ask that you care for her in good times as well as days of trouble.  Be her refuge, be her stronghold Lord, for we know that you are good.  And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen. (more…)
