You Are a Dear Child of God – A Child of Light!
Good Morning Heavenly Father! Thank you for my good health. Thank you for all those who watch over my health. And thank you for providing scriptures for my prayers for your daughter Lindsey each and every day especially today as I start another 40 days of praying for your daughter with special prayers!
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (Ephesians 5:1-8)
Lord, I am here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you. Lindsey, you are a dearly loved daughter of God. And today’s scripture reminds you that as such, you need to walk in love! This is not always easy, so today I pray that the Lord would walk with you and fill you with his joy as your strength so you can walk together in love wherever you go! Just look where God is leading you and follow that path! Avoid all the things that you know are wrong and walk with integrity. Lord, I ask that you protect Lindsey from any deception that she may encounter. At those times remind her of your truth. Shine your light on her Lord, so that she can walk as a child of light. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. GLORY! I pray and ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
You are being gathered together with other sons and daughters of God
Heavenly Father, good morning! I welcome a new day. I welcome a new day with you. Thank you for letting me begin again today, to begin anew, to begin anew with you! And thank you for the scripture confirming again that your daughter Lindsey is indeed a child of God being gathered into one!
And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples. (John 11:49-54)
Lord, I am here with joy today because I am beginning another 40 days of prayer for your daughter you love. These next 40 days I will be using scriptures about music, singing and dancing as a basis of my prayers. But for the first prayer I will use the Gospel of John to confirm that you are gathering the children of God together. Lindsey, you are a daughter of God. You are being gathered together with other sons and daughters. Jesus died for you Lindsey. And John has said that Jesus died so that you could be gathered together as one as a child of God. And that is glorious. Yes, glorious. And we give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
You are a child of God, a daughter of God!
Heavenly Father, thank you for watching over my family the past week. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for guiding me. Thank you for all your many blessings. And thank you for the scripture to use in my first prayer for the next set of 40 prayers for your daughter Lindsey:
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:26-29)
Lord, what a joy to be here with you again today. I am here today to lift up the daughter you love and to begin another set of daily prayers for her. And today I ask that you find a way to remind her that she truly is a daughter of God. She has put her faith in Jesus and is now a child of God and an heir according to the promise. Lord, you are Lindsey’s loving father so I ask that you walk with her today. I ask that you sit with her. I ask that you comfort her while you sing over her. Let her know that you are there with her. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this all in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen. (more…)
Praying for a Daughter of God
Heavenly Father, thank you for creating this wonderful world. Thank you for creating beauty around us. Thank you for creating all the multitude of stars in the sky. Thank you giving us eyes to see and ears to hear so that we can see the beauty and sing about it. Thank you Lord. And thank you for the scripture to base my prayer for your daughter who loves you so much:
I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)
Yes, Lord, Lindsey is indeed your daughter. She knows this and has taken this truth to heart before the world around her. I pray that you would be with her this day, just as a loving father longs to be with his daughter. Remind her how much you love her today. Let her feel your presence around her wherever she goes. And we will give you the glory Lord. All the glory is yours. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of Kings. Amen. (more…)
