Praying for a Daughter of God

Heavenly Father, thank you for creating this wonderful world. Thank you for creating beauty around us. Thank you for creating all the multitude of stars in the sky. Thank you giving us eyes to see and ears to hear so that we can see the beauty and sing about it. Thank you Lord.  And thank you for the scripture to base my prayer for your daughter who loves you so much:

I will receive you,  and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters,  saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)

Yes, Lord, Lindsey is indeed your daughter.  She knows this and has taken this truth to heart before the world around her.  I pray that you would be with her this day, just as a loving father longs to be with his daughter.  Remind her how much you love her today. Let her feel your presence around her wherever she goes.  And we will give you the glory Lord. All the glory is yours.  I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of Kings. Amen.

NKJV: I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
