Heavenly Father, thank you for watching over me day and night. Thank you for your Word that is a glorious gift to us. Thank you for helping me to understand it as I read it over and over so that it can almost seem like it is part of me! And thank you for the scripture to use for my prayer this day for your daughter Lindsey:
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Jude 1:24-25)
Lord, I could hardly wait to come sit with you today. For today it seems like a celebration for your daughter you love! I ask that you keep her from stumbling or falling as you bring her before your glorious presence and that you grant her a great and exceeding joy today. Let her be more joyful than usual today. Let everyone who sees her notice the joy bubbling from within her. And we will give you the glory. The glory and majesty are yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen
NKJV:
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.
NIV:
To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
GNT:
To him who is able to keep you from falling and to bring you faultless and joyful before his glorious presence— to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, might, and authority, from all ages past, and now, and forever and ever! Amen.
