Play your violin and make others well again because the Lord is with you!

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for this day. Thank you for always being with me. Thank you for being my guide and keeping my feet from slipping.  And thank you for the scripture to base today’s prayer:

And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee. Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me.  Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Beth-lehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him. (1 Samuel 16:15-18)

Lord, I’m here again, anxious with joy to pray for your daughter Lindsey. She loves you Lord. You gave her the talent to play violin exceedingly well. Lindsey, I pray that you will recognize God is there with you as you play and that your cunning in playing would help others be well again. For not only are you talented, but God is with you.  I pray that you would be both valiant and prudent as David was. He was a comely person, handsome and fine-looking … but what mattered was that the Lord was with him. And so I pray that God would be with you today and for all the days of your life and that he would be part of your music wherever you play. And all the glory is to God. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

HCSB:
so Saul’s servants said to him, “You see that an evil spirit from God is tormenting you. Let our lord command your servants here in your presence to look for someone who knows how to play the lyre. Whenever the evil spirit from God troubles you, that person can play the lyre, and you will feel better.” Then Saul commanded his servants, “Find me someone who plays well and bring him to me.” One of the young men answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is also a valiant man, a warrior, eloquent, handsome, and the Lord is with him.”

NLT:
Some of Saul’s servants said to him, “A tormenting spirit from God is troubling you. 16 Let us find a good musician to play the harp whenever the tormenting spirit troubles you. He will play soothing music, and you will soon be well again.”
“All right,” Saul said. “Find me someone who plays well, and bring him here.”  One of the servants said to Saul, “One of Jesse’s sons from Bethlehem is a talented harp player. Not only that—he is a brave warrior, a man of war, and has good judgment. He is also a fine-looking young man, and the Lord is with him.”

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
