Be just like a little child if you want to enter the kingdom of heaven

Heavenly Father, good morning! Thank you for another wonderful day. Thank you for the wonderful weather. Thank you for letting me sense your presence all around me. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:2-3)

Lord, I’m here as usual on behalf of your daughter you love, to pray for something that she seems to have already! Lindsey, it seems like you have embraced today’s scripture wholeheartedly. You have such a childlike joy just bursting out from within you. And today I thank the Lord that you indeed are ready to enter into the kingdom of heaven. And I pray that you would continue holding fast unto this quality. I ask that the Lord would remind you now and then that becoming like a little child is a GOOD THING! Never be ashamed of it. And all the glory goes to God. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

[tomorrow will be the very next verse]

HCSB:
Then He called a child to Him and had him stand among them.  I assure you,” He said,“unless you are converted and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

NET:
He called a child, had him stand among them,  and said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn around and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
