A daughter of God

The Lord Is Doing Great Things. Do You See Them?

Heavenly Father. What an amazing universe you created just for us! You could have splashed a few hundred (or even a few thousand) stars around the heavens for us to see at night – but you are bigger than that and far more extravagant! So you filled the heavens with billions of stars – likely more that we cannot see than that we can see! What a glorious gift for our nights! Thank you for showing us your glory in this way! And thank you for your daughter Lindsey and the scriptures you gave me for this prayer for her this day:

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things (Joel 2:21)

and one of my favorite passages that says “See what God has done!”

according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought! (Numbers 23:23b)

Lord, it is me again. I have come before you on behalf of Lindsey every day for a year now, and today my prayer for your daughter you love ends with scriptures that reminds us that you will do great things for her. We are reminded that you already have done great things for her. And so, Lindsey, I close one year of prayers with that reminder. I pray that each and every day you would always remember some of the great things that God has done for you. And I pray that each day you also would expect even more. God is a gracious and generous God, so be glad and rejoice, for he will continue to do great things for you. Why? Because he loves you! After all, you ARE his daughter! And so we now give all the glory to God. The glory is all to him. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

NLT:
Don’t be afraid, my people. Be glad now and rejoice, for the LORD has done great things (Joel 2:21)

NIV:
See what God has done! (Numbers 23:23b)

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
