You Are a Dear Child of God – A Child of Light!
Good Morning Heavenly Father! Thank you for my good health. Thank you for all those who watch over my health. And thank you for providing scriptures for my prayers for your daughter Lindsey each and every day especially today as I start another 40 days of praying for your daughter with special prayers!
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (Ephesians 5:1-8)
Lord, I am here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you. Lindsey, you are a dearly loved daughter of God. And today’s scripture reminds you that as such, you need to walk in love! This is not always easy, so today I pray that the Lord would walk with you and fill you with his joy as your strength so you can walk together in love wherever you go! Just look where God is leading you and follow that path! Avoid all the things that you know are wrong and walk with integrity. Lord, I ask that you protect Lindsey from any deception that she may encounter. At those times remind her of your truth. Shine your light on her Lord, so that she can walk as a child of light. Do Good… your reward will be great… you will be a child of the Most High God
Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for good friends. Thank you for the way friends can help each other and how it just seems natural, just the way it should be. And thank you for another day to remember how Lindsey is your daughter … a daughter of God as I begin 40 days of prayers based on commands and rewards – on obedience and joy!
[Jesus said] But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. (Luke 6:35)
Lord, I’m here again. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter, who strives to do what is good each and every day. Lord, I ask that you continue to show her your favor, which is a great reward, for we know that you are a gracious God. Lindsey, I pray that you will always find ways to love those who do not love you. I pray that at times you will be able to lend to people expecting nothing in return. And Lord, I pray that you would remind Lindsey how she is a daughter of the Most High, a daughter of God. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours. Never forget that you are a child of God!
Heavenly Father, good morning! Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving me as your son. Thank you for reminding me how you delight in me, even when I need some correction! And thank you for the scriptures to begin this next 40 days of prayers based on New Testament scriptures quoting from the Old Testament that reminds Lindsey that she indeed is a daughter of God:
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. (Hebrews 12:5-6)
The “exhortation” appears to be from Deuteronomy and Proverbs:
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee. (Deuteronomy 8:5)
And:
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. (Proverbs 3:11-12)
Lord, I’m here to pray for your daughter Lindsey this day. She has not forgotten that she is your daughter! I ask that you show her how much you delight in her. I ask that as you correct her in her ways, that you also remind her that such correction is to be expected if she is indeed your daughter. Remind her that if you didn’t correct her, you also then would not be treating her like your daughter, for you correct those you love just as a father corrects his children. We will rejoice that Lindsey is your daughter. And we will give the glory to you Lord. All the glory is yours. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
God loves you and calls you his daughter!
Good Morning Heavenly Father. I welcome this new day with you. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer as I start another 40 days of prayers by acknowledging how scripture says that she is a child of God, a daughter of God:
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (1 John 3:1)
Lord, I’m here again to lift up your daughter Lindsey. I ask that you let her feel your presence and confirm that she is indeed A DAUGHTER OF GOD. You have bestowed your love upon her. Let her feel that love from you today. Let that truth resonate in her this day Lord. And all the glory goes to you. The glory is all yours Lord. You are being gathered together with other sons and daughters of God
Heavenly Father, good morning! I welcome a new day. I welcome a new day with you. Thank you for letting me begin again today, to begin anew, to begin anew with you! And thank you for the scripture confirming again that your daughter Lindsey is indeed a child of God being gathered into one!
And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples. (John 11:49-54)
Lord, I am here with joy today because I am beginning another 40 days of prayer for your daughter you love. These next 40 days I will be using scriptures about music, singing and dancing as a basis of my prayers. But for the first prayer I will use the Gospel of John to confirm that you are gathering the children of God together. Lindsey, you are a daughter of God. You are being gathered together with other sons and daughters. Jesus died for you Lindsey. And John has said that Jesus died so that you could be gathered together as one as a child of God. And that is glorious. Yes, glorious. And we give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Lindsey, you have the right and power to be a child of God
Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for the rain and how it is necessary for trees, plants and flowers. Thank you for the many aspects of creation that I see all around me each day. And thank you for the scripture to use as the basis for my prayer for your daughter to start another 40 days of prayers:
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13)
Lord, here I am. It is a joy to be with you today. It is wonderful to begin another 40 days praying for your daughter with a prayer based on scripture that affirms that she is a child of God. Lindsey, you publicly affirm your belief in Jesus and this gives you the right and power to be a child of God… to be a daughter of God! I pray that God would affirm this to you. I pray that you would rejoice in the knowledge that you are a loved daughter of God. And we give God all the glory for this awesome truth. The glory is all his. Blessing: You Are A Child Of God as you are a peacemaker
This is the seventh blessing from the Sermon on the Mount. Lindsey, you are a child of God, yes you are indeed a daughter of God and you are blessed as you are a peacemaker.
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for sunshine. Thank you for light – direct light, indirect light, defused light. Where would we be without light!? And thank you for the basis of today’s blessing based on the scripture where Jesus said:
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
Lord, it is nice to know that when I come to sit with you, that you are there waiting for me. And this morning I am here to once again bless your daughter who loves you. Lindsey, I pray that you will be a peacemaker in both little and great matters, for you have already recognized yourself as a child of God, as a daughter of God. And we will give the glory to God. You are a Child of God without blemish! Blameless and pure!
Heavenly Father, good morning! At night the sky was crystal clear and the stars were bright and twinkling. Thank you for setting the stars in the heavens for us to see. It is breath-taking! Hundreds that I can see… thousands with a little help … millions with a good telescope, but there are even way more than that. The immenseness of this paints a splendid picture of the God we praise today! Thank you Lord. And thank you for the scripture to use as the basis for my prayer to kick off the next 40 days of prayers for the daughter you love!
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (Philippians 2:14-15)
Lord, what a privilege to be able to sit with you. What an honor. But here I am … sitting with you. You restored my breath. You cleared my mind. I am here on Lindsey’s behalf again Lord. Today I pray a prayer confirming that she is a child of God, that she is a daughter of God shining as a light in the world in the midst of the darkness which you refer to as crooked, perverse and twisted. Lord, I ask that you fill your daughter with your love and your light. Let her shine brightly before all she meets and let her do all things without grumbling, disputing, arguing or murmuring! Let only goodness spill out from her where ever she goes. And we will give you the glory. Yes, all the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen (more…)
You are a child of God, a daughter of God!
Heavenly Father, thank you for watching over my family the past week. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for guiding me. Thank you for all your many blessings. And thank you for the scripture to use in my first prayer for the next set of 40 prayers for your daughter Lindsey:
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:26-29)
Lord, what a joy to be here with you again today. I am here today to lift up the daughter you love and to begin another set of daily prayers for her. And today I ask that you find a way to remind her that she truly is a daughter of God. She has put her faith in Jesus and is now a child of God and an heir according to the promise. Lord, you are Lindsey’s loving father so I ask that you walk with her today. I ask that you sit with her. I ask that you comfort her while you sing over her. Let her know that you are there with her. Praying for a Daughter of God
Heavenly Father, thank you for creating this wonderful world. Thank you for creating beauty around us. Thank you for creating all the multitude of stars in the sky. Thank you giving us eyes to see and ears to hear so that we can see the beauty and sing about it. Thank you Lord. And thank you for the scripture to base my prayer for your daughter who loves you so much:
I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)
Yes, Lord, Lindsey is indeed your daughter. She knows this and has taken this truth to heart before the world around her. I pray that you would be with her this day, just as a loving father longs to be with his daughter. Remind her how much you love her today. Let her feel your presence around her wherever she goes.
