(B) You are Blessed

Heavenly Father – Hello. When things are a bit confusing, I thank you for being always available for me to sit with, that you help bring clarity and understanding to situations here. Thank you for promising that if I draw near to you that you will draw near to me. And thank you for the scripture for the letter B for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. (Jeremiah 17:7)

Lord, I need rest, but I also know that when I need rest I need to sit with you more, and so here I am lifting up your daughter to you. Lord, Lindsey trusts in you and places her hope and confidence in you. And so I ask that you bless her this day. Bless her in the morning, noon and night. Let her feel your blessing upon her this day Lord. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Heavenly Father, hello … come welcome this new day with me. Thank you for this new day that I can spend anew with you. Thank you for the sunshine, for the light that lets me see the many parts of your creation around me, the many things you created just for us! And thank you for this scripture to kick off 26 days of prayers for Lindsey regarding how you see her … from A to Z, starting with A:

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Lord, with great joy I lift up your daughter Lindsey. You have placed her in a position where she can be your ambassador to so many people. I ask that you be there with her whenever she speaks for you or about you with others, be it one person or millions. Be her guide as she is your ambassador, she gives you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Heavenly Father, Good Morning! What a wonderful morning, what a wonderful day. This is the day you made and I will rejoice in it and praise you for it. And thank you for the scripture to use in my prayer this day for your daughter Lindsey:

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. (Luke 12:8-9)

Lord, with joy I am here before you again today, this morning! I am here on behalf of your daughter you love. She continues to publicly acknowledge you before men here on earth. And so I ask that you acknowledge her before the angels. But I also ask that you find ways to acknowledge her this day, this week, this year. Let her know that you are with her. Let all men know that you are with her! And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask all this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength

Heavenly Father, here I am to welcome this new day with you, for this day is holy to you Lord. Thank you for the clean clear air that I breathe. Thank you for the people around me, the community you placed me in. Thank you for your Word and for the portion that I am to use for my prayer this morning, my prayer for your daughter you love:

So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved. And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them. (Nehemiah 8:8-12)

Lord, here I am. It’s me again. I came to sit with you this morning as usual and to lift up Lindsey to you. She needs your strength this day, so I ask that you fill her with your joy and let your joy be her strength. Let her be filled with your joy so that those around her can see it in her eyes. And I also pray that you will meet with her as she reads your word today, and every day as it is her goal to meet with you daily. Let this day be holy to you Lord as you sit with her and bring meaning to the words that she reads so that she may understand them. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Rest in Hope and Rejoice that God is always with you!

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for being here with me always. Thank you for letting me feel your presence all around me. Yes, my heart is glad in this and I rejoice! Thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. (Psalm 16:7-9)

Lord, often I come to you for rest and this scripture speaks to that need … that I can come to you and I can just rest.  And today in my prayer for Lindsey I ask that she may find this rest in you. Let her heart be glad allowing her this rest Lord. And I ask that you be her counsel, that you be her guide today. Be always with her and let her be aware of your presence. Give her confidence knowing that if you are there with her she will not be shaken, she will not be moved! And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

And especially thank you for your Word which has been carefully preserved and translated so that I can read and understand your scripture to use for my prayer this day:
