Rest in Hope and Rejoice that God is always with you!

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for being here with me always. Thank you for letting me feel your presence all around me. Yes, my heart is glad in this and I rejoice! Thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. (Psalm 16:7-9)

Lord, often I come to you for rest and this scripture speaks to that need … that I can come to you and I can just rest.  And today in my prayer for Lindsey I ask that she may find this rest in you. Let her heart be glad allowing her this rest Lord. And I ask that you be her counsel, that you be her guide today. Be always with her and let her be aware of your presence. Give her confidence knowing that if you are there with her she will not be shaken, she will not be moved! And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

NKJV:
I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel;
My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will rest in hope.

NASB:
I will bless the Lord who has counseled me;
Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.
I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will dwell securely.

GNT:
I praise the Lord, because he guides me,

    and in the night my conscience warns me.
I am always aware of the Lord‘s presence;
    he is near, and nothing can shake me.

And so I am thankful and glad,
    and I feel completely secure,

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
