Women joined in playing music to the Lord

Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for movement. Thank you for legs that move me around on cushioned steps. Thank you for my feet that keep me balanced. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. (Psalm 68:25)

Lord, I’m here again, as usual. I am ready to begin another daily prayer for your daughter Lindsey. I ask that you let her be like the young women who played on instruments as part of a procession that honored you God. Let the music glorify you Lord. I ask that you provide Lindsey with many opportunities to glorify you in her music and dance. And we will give the glory to you Lord. The glory is all yours. Glory. I pray this all in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings.  Amen

Singers lead the way,
with musicians following;
among them are young women
playing tambourines

Singers walk in front;
musicians follow playing their stringed instruments,
in the midst of young women playing tambourines

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it. More Info CLICK: References
