Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for creating us and for saving us through Jesus. Thank you for giving us this scripture regarding your promise of eternal life for those who leave this world to be with you:
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. (2 Corinthians 4:13-14)
Lord, I am here. I am here on behalf of your daughter Lindsey, who has lost a very dear friend. I ask that you be with her and be her comforter. Lindsey, just as Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, I write my prayer for you to remind you of things you already know, for you are not ignorant concerning how everlasting life is waiting for each of us. You read God’s Word each day, so you are not uninformed about those who sleep in death.
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. (2 Peter 1:12)
Lindsey, today I remind you of the faith and the hope that you already have. So, don’t be concerned about your good friend Gavi. Paul reminds you to not grieve for him. For we know he has eternal life as his hope is fulfilled. So, be comforted. I pray that once again God would fill you with his joy so that you could celebrate how Jesus has brought Gavi to him. I pray that the joy of the Lord could be seen in your eyes again. And in this we give the glory to God. All the glory is his. Glory. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for another day. Thank you for my breath and my life. Thank you for always being with me. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Lord, I’m here as usual to begin another day’s prayer for your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I am praying that you are praying! Yes indeed, because when you pray, God will listen. If you seek him with all your heart you will indeed find him. God has good plans for you… plans that give you a future and a hope… plans to prosper you. And so, I pray today that you will pray. God is waiting to hear from his daughter! Pray knowing God will answer you. And together let’s give him the glory. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
May the God of hope bless you Lindsey and fill you with all joy and peace in the midst of your faith and belief that you may overflow and abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for this world and everything in it. Thank you for the many many little things that often go by unnoticed. Thank you for coffee, and not just one kind of coffee but dozens and dozens of kinds. Thank you for cocoa and all the varieties of hot chocolate. Thank you for mornings sitting with you with a coffee or hot chocolate. And thank you for the scripture to base my blessing over your daughter this day:
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Lord, here I am. It’s me! I am here before your throne to pray for your daughter you love. I am here to bless her again this day. Lindsey, may you be blessed for trusting in the Lord. May he be your hope and confidence. May you be like a tree planted along side a stream with deep roots fed by its water. May you never be bothered by heat nor by drought. Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for the snow which is beautiful even though it is a bit cold. Thank you for the snowflakes which each are different and unique and yet are symmetrical and typically six sided as seen by the photos of snowflakes taken by W. A. Bentley aka Snowflake Bentley. Thank you for the bright sunlight glittering on the snow. And thank you for the blessing for your daughter for this day:
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)
Lord, I am here to sit with you for a bit. Sitting with you is important regardless of what else is going on around me. And because they love you they have given you everlasting consolation, unfailing courage and a firm hope. All the glory is his. I pray this all in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
