(U) You are Upheld and Restored with the Joy of Your Salvation

Heavenly Father, good day! Thank you for another day! It’s cold (below zero), but never-the-less it is a good day to spend with you. Thank you for being with me every day. And thank you for the scripture to base my prayer today for your daughter Lindsey for the letter U:

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. (Psalm 51:12)

Lord, I’m here again. Coming to sit with you to lift up your daughter each day is important. Praying for her helps lift my spirits as well. And today I pray that you uphold your daughter with your generous, willing and free spirit. Let her actually feel upheld! And I also ask that you restore to Lindsey the JOY of her salvation. Fill her with you joy Lord. Let her be so full of joy that others can see it in her eyes, in her words and in her walk. And we will give you all the glory. The glory is yours! I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
    and uphold me with a willing spirit.

NKJV:
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

KJV translation note
