A daughter of God

Latest Prayers

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and he is revealing things to you Lindsey!

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for a day surrounded by the beauty of your creation. And thank you for not just one, but two scriptures to use for my prayer for your daughter Lindsey this day:

Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am. (Luke 22:70)

And also…

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 16:15-17)

Lord, it’s me again. I’m here on behalf of your daughter you love. I am praying for you Lindsey. Yes, I am praying for you every day. And today I pray that this truth will resonate in you, because you are not afraid to publicly tell the world that you are a daughter of God and that you are drawing closer to Jesus. And so I pray that Jesus will meet with you as you draw closer. I pray that as you draw closer to him that he will draw closer to you. I pray that he will reveal things to you. I pray that you would clearly hear him when he is talking to you and that any “static” would dissipate. And we will give the glory to God. The glory is all his. I pray this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Know Jesus and do the will of the Father… only then ask in his name!

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for steam. Thank you for mist. Thank you for wispy clouds. Thank you for showing us how at times there can be something covering our field of vision just a bit and perhaps we might not even notice it.  A slight mist or slight fog can alter how the world looks, make it a bit more ominous. Help us to not let the powers of darkness cloud our vision of your world, of your creation, of you … as the scripture for today’s prayer abruptly warns us:

[Jesus said:] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Lord, it’s me again – as usual. Yep, I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you. I am praying for you today Lindsey. I am praying a big prayer for you today. I pray that you will truly know Jesus. I pray that you both can sit and talk today, have a real heart to heart talk. I pray that you will clearly see what God’s will for you and your life is. And I pray that God grant you all the courage you may need to walk in his will. I ask that God remove any fear or lingering doubts that cloud your mind. And I ask that he will always give you the words wherever you go! And we will glorify him. The glory all is his. Glory to God! I ask this all in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings, Savior and Lord, the Anointed One who calms my storms. Amen (more…)

No one can rob you of your joy! Ask! Be an “asker” in the name of Jesus!

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the new day. Thank you for peace of mind as I start this new day. Thank you for reminding me that I just need to keep my focus on Jesus and not be distracted by what I see to the left and to the right of me. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:

[Jesus said:] A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: (John 16:21-26)

Lord, here I am! I am ready to start today’s prayer for your daughter you love! Lindsey, today I pray that your heart is rejoicing. I pray that you recognize and realize that no one can rob you of this joy. And right now I pray that you realize that Jesus is telling you to ASK … to ASK … and to ASK IN HIS NAME! And so I pray that you can be an asker this day (yeah, I just made up that word).  I pray that you can be someone who asks … who is not afraid to ask in the name of Christ Jesus.  And I pray that God will answer… and that you will hear his answer clearly. And we both can give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray and ask this all IN THE NAME OF CHRIST JESUS, KING OF KINGS! Amen (more…)

I pray that you will continue your daily reading of Scriptures and ask that the Lord would embed the words within you. I pray that you would continue and remain in Jesus and in his word. And then I pray that the Lord would grant you what you desire, what you need, what you want. And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I ask this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for your continued protection. Thank you for watching over my family. And thank you for the scripture that reminds us that we can indeed pray and ask in the name of Jesus:

[Jesus said:] Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (John 15:16)

Pray that you will not fall into temptation!

Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for allowing me to be calm in the midst of a storm. Thank you for often calming the storm as well. And thank you for the scripture that has Jesus telling us that it is OK for us to pray for ourselves!

And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. (Luke 22:40)

During your daily reading of the Bible Jesus is there in your midst!

Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for my good health. Thank you for showing me how to maintain a thankful heart. And thank you for the scripture to use for my prayer this day for Lindsey, your daughter:

[Jesus said:] For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20)

Lord, I’m here again to lift up Lindsey to you. She has committed to reading your word with others every day this year. God’s Kingdom is in our midst within us now, though not with something observable

Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for giving us your Word. Thank you for all the people who preserved it and those that diligently translated it into our language so that we could read it ourselves. Thank you for bringing us understanding as we read it so that it is not just a lot of words. And thank you for the scripture to use for the prayer today where Jesus tells us about the kingdom of God:

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:20-21)

Lord, it’s me again. I am here to pray for your daughter Lindsey. And today I pray that your kingdom would be right there within her in such a way that she can feel it. Let her know that God’s kingdom is right there within her. Lindsey, I pray that you will not need to ask for a sign because the kingdom has come in a way that is not observable, yet it is real. Lord, make your kingdom real for Lindsey today. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours Lord. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

KJV translation note

The King James Version is a beautiful translation of the original Hebrew and Greek, however I sometimes find Old English hard to understand fully. 1 or 2 other translations can help clarify what it is saying so I can understand it.
