(S) You are Strengthened Within by the Spirit
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for all that is unique. Thank you for showing how you value uniqueness. Thank you for the many many kinds of birds, of dogs, of trees. Thank you for making each one of us in your image but unique at the very same time. Thank you for all that you have instilled into your daughter Lindsey and the scripture for the letter S that speaks about her:
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; (Ephesians 3:16)
Lord, I am so happy to have you at my side every minute of the day. I am pleased that you are here when I come to sit with you. And now I lift up your daughter you love. I ask you to strengthen her with might by your spirit in her inner man, her inner being. I ask that she can feel your strength within her. I ask that she can know that you have filled her with might by your Spirit. I ask for big things today. I ask knowing that you hear me and that you do answer our prayers. I ask this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. And we will give all the glory to you Lord. The glory is to you. Amen (more…)
(R) You are Redeemed, Rescued and Renewed
Heavenly Father, today I look up and give you praise for this wonderful world and for sending your son Jesus to suffer and die for sins that we committed. Thank you for rescuing and redeeming us and for renewing us each day. And thank you for the scripture for the letter R:
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:2-5)
Yep, it’s me. Lord. I’m here. I couldn’t wait for another time with you on behalf of your daughter Lindsey. You have rescued and redeemed her Lord. You have renewed her youth. And today I ask that you let her feel like one who has been rescued, one who has been redeemed. I ask that she feel the youth in her being renewed by you Lord. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this all in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
(Q) You are Qualified
(See other translations to help with old English “which hath made us meet”)
Heavenly Father, thank you for the warm room in the midst of 30 below zero wind chill temperatures. Thank you for watching over me all these years and I ask that you would watch over all the others during the very cold temperatures. Thank you for being my instructor and my guide. And thank you for such a good scripture for the letter Q:
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet* to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: (Colossians 1:12)
Lord, I am here again. Here to sit with you and to remember your daughter you love, to recall Lindsey. You have made her qualified for every task that you set before her. I ask that you give her confidence and let her feel fully qualified for everything she sets out to accomplish. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours. I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen
* “hath made us meet” = “has qualified us”
(P) You are Precious
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for memories. Thank you for a reasoning mind that I have used constantly for well over half a century and it is still working :) I don’t know where all the memories go, but somehow they are there when I think back to what once was. What a miracle. Thank you Lord. And thank you for the scripture for the letter P which I have been looking forward to so that I can pray it over your daughter who loves you so much:
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, (1 Peter 2:3-4)
Lord, here I am. It’s me! I’m here on behalf of the daughter who is so very precious to you. I ask that you let her see herself the way that you see her. Open her eyes and her mind so that she can see as you do for a brief moment. Let her see how she is precious to you Lord. As she travels around this wonderful world, help her to always remember that you know her by name and that she is very precious to you. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours Lord. I ask this in the name and authority of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)
