Continue loving God by keeping his commandments and he will lavish his love on you!
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for my breath. Thank you for my life. Thank you for watching over me so diligently. And thank you for the scripture to use in my prayer for your daughter Lindsey this day:
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:6)
Lord, I’m here. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter who loves you with her whole heart. Lindsey, I pray that you will always remember that keeping God’s commandments is not a suggestion. Obeying his commands is not just a good idea. God tells us that if we love him that we must keep his commandments. But in the same breath God also said that then he would lavish his unfailing love on us, that he would show mercy unto us. Lord I ask that you show mercy to Lindsey. I ask that you lavish your unfailing love on her. Lord, I ask that intertwining her obedience to your love and mercy would take root in your daughter. Let her see how they are interconnected and tied together. And we will give you the glory. The glory is all yours Lord. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen (more…)

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the sunshine. Thank you for the clouds. Thank you for the needed rain. Thank you for all the weather changes. And thank you for the scripture to use for today’s prayer for Lindsey:
And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about. (2 Chronicles 15:15)
Lord, I’m here. I’m here as usual. I’m here on behalf of your daughter who loves you. Lindsey, this is a wonderful scripture to pray over you today because I know that you seek the lord with your whole desire, with all your heart. I pray that you will rejoice just as all Judah did. I pray that you will find delight in worshiping the Lord. I pray that you will find peace on every side around you. And we will give the glory to God. The glory is all to him. Glory! I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Amen

Lord, it’s me. I am here as usual to begin today’s prayer for your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I pray God’s abundant blessings on you. God promises his blessing on you as you just listen to hear his voice. Blessings are tied in with obeying the Lord. I ask that God would show you the way to go and that he would give you the courage to actually go where he shows you. And the glory is his. All the glory goes to God. Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for fast typing fingers that know where to go as I type without my looking at them or at the keyboard. Thank you for the instant coordination from what I am thinking to what I am typing. And thank you for speaking to me in the same way that I can instantly hear you. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit. (Ecclesiastes 2:26)
Lord, it’s me. I am ready to begin as I stand before you on behalf of your daughter you love. Lindsey, today I pray that you can do good in God’s sight. I pray that you will please your God this day. I pray that you will be able to do what is right each time a choice is set before you. And then I ask God to give you more joy with each choice. I ask that he grant you great wisdom and knowledge with each decision you make. And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is his. I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, King of kings. Just do it!
Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for walking. Yes, thank you for the chance to walk from my house to the bus stop and later from the bus stop to the coffee shop. Thank you for legs and feet that can walk so easily … reminding me how I also am walking with you throughout the day no matter where I am. And thank you for scripture to use for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey:
[Jesus said] Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. (John 15:14)
Lord, I’m here again. I am here as usual to begin another day’s prayer for your daughter you love. Lindsey, Jesus would like you to be his friend and he offered you an open invitation. All you have to do is whatever he commands you. So, Lord, I ask that you speak clearly to Lindsey this day. I ask that you clear the static from her mind so she can hear you easily. Give her the courage to actually walk the way that you show her. Give her words when she needs them. Lindsey, listen carefully to hear Jesus speaking to you today, and take him up on his offer to be his friend. Whatever he asks, just do it! And we will give the glory to God. All the glory is his. Keep God’s commandments and his joy will fill you!
Good Morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for another new day with you. Another day anew. Another day starting fresh – no need to start where I left off last night for you tell me to just start each day anew. And thank you for the scripture for today’s prayer for your daughter Lindsey which is one of the two scriptures I have as a foundation for my collection of scriptures that show how JOY and OBEDIENCE are interconnected and intertwined:
[Jesus said] If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. (John 15:10-11)
Lord, I’m here again. Seems like so much to do. Help me keep right priorities. And right now I am ready to pray for your daughter Lindsey. She strives each day to walk with you and to keep your commandments, so I pray that you would speak to her and shower her with your joy so that she is filled to overflowing with JOY. Heavenly Father, good morning. Thank you for good friends. Thank you for the way friends can help each other and how it just seems natural, just the way it should be. And thank you for another day to remember how Lindsey is your daughter … a daughter of God as I begin 40 days of prayers based on commands and rewards – on obedience and joy!
[Jesus said] But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. (Luke 6:35)
Lord, I’m here again. I’m here on behalf of Lindsey, your daughter, who strives to do what is good each and every day. Lord, I ask that you continue to show her your favor, which is a great reward, for we know that you are a gracious God. Lindsey, I pray that you will always find ways to love those who do not love you. I pray that at times you will be able to lend to people expecting nothing in return. And Lord, I pray that you would remind Lindsey how she is a daughter of the Most High, a daughter of God. And we will give you the glory. All the glory is yours.
